    Abstract: Information indicative of a plurality of sub-areas of a geographic area can be obtained. Each sub-area is demarcated by a corresponding enclosed border. For each sub-area a set of internal borders that are successively nested within the enclosed border of the sub-area can be identified. For each sub-area, a set of points can be selected from points located along the set of internal borders. For each sub-area, based on the set of points, a tessellation process can be performed to tessellate the sub-area into a plurality of polygons within the enclosed border, each polygon of the plurality of polygons being representative of a corresponding candidate base station deployment site. Tracking Area Code (TAC) information indicative of a plurality of TACs assigned to the plurality of candidate base station deployment sites can be obtained.
