  • Patent number: 11967964
Abstract: A clock disciplining scheme uses a pulse per second (PPS) signal that is distributed throughout a network to coordinate timing. In determining the time, jitter can occur due to latency between detection of the PPS signal and a software interrupt generated there from. This jitter affects the accuracy of the clock disciplining process. To eliminate the jitter, extra hardware is used to capture when the PPS signal occurred relative to a hardware clock counter associated with the clock disciplining software. In one embodiment, the extra hardware can be a sampling logic, which captures a state of a hardware clock counter upon PPS detection. In another embodiment, the extra hardware can initiate a counter that calculates a delay by the clock disciplining software in reading the hardware clock counter. The disciplining software can then subtract the calculated delay from a hardware clock counter to obtain the original PPS signal.

  • Patent number: 11386008
Abstract: A memory apparatus for detecting false hits in a content-addressable memory (CAM) is disclosed. The memory apparatus includes a controller coupled to the CAM and a memory. The controller receives a search result including an address from the CAM, the address corresponding to a matching entry from a first set of data entries that matches a search tag. The controller provides a read address based on the address to the memory, which returns a second data entry from a second set of data entries corresponding to the read address. The controller receives the read data and generates an error detection result based on a comparison between the second data entry and the search tag.

  • Publication number: 20220073865
Abstract: A method of preparing a composition comprising mycelium along with a cellulose and/or plurality of nanoparticles is described herein. The method comprises inoculating a liquid medium with fungus, the liquid medium comprising nutrients and the cellulose and/or nanoparticles. Further described herein are compositions comprising mycelium along with a cellulose and/or plurality of nanoparticles, as well as articles-of-manufacture comprising such a composition, wherein at least 10% of the cellulose and/or nanoparticles in the composition is incorporated within the mycelium. A method of enhancing fungal growth is also described, comprising contacting the fungus with a liquid medium comprising a polymer which comprises carboxylic acid groups.
