Patent number: 9402567Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the dimensions of human feet is comprised of a base and a cover, which fits over it to define the borders of two essentially rectangular wells into which the feet to be measured are placed. A pressure pad assembly comprising a matrix of sensors is placed at the bottom of base. The walls of the wells are defined by PCBS comprising arrays comprised of a multitude of emitter/detector pairs, which are used to make length and width measurements of said feet. MCUs on the pressure pad assembly and computation means comprise software algorithms that automatically make length, width, and pressure measurements and correct errors in the length and width measurements caused by misalignment of the feet in the wells. Patent number: 9005158Abstract: The invention is a non-surgical method for the eradication of pigmentation and scar tissue from an area of skin. The method comprises repeatedly puncturing the area of skin with an array of needles. As the needles are inserted into the skin, the needles and surface of the skin are washed with a clean solution. As the needles are withdrawn from the skin, the flow of clean solution ceases and the dirty solution, which contains cellular fluids and pigments released by the action of the needles, is removed from the surface. The invention is also a solution, which is used to clean the needles and to aid in destroying the pigment containing cells, and an apparatus, which is especially designed to move the needles into and out of the surface of the skin and to provide synchronization of the motion of the needles and flow of the solution such as to maximize the effectiveness of the method.Type: GrantFiled: July 27, 2006Date of Patent: April 14, 2015Assignee: Hawk Medical Technologies Ltd.Inventors: Noam Danenberg, Ori Nesher

Publication number: 20120047912Abstract: The invention is new types of split-thermo-electric structures for cooling, heating, or stabilizing the temperature of an object or for electric power generation. In a first type of structure the transport of the electric current between the heat absorbing and the heat dispersing sides of the structure is disengaged from the flow of heat between the sides of the thermo-electric structure. In a second type of structure a layer of thermo-electric material on the heat absorbing side of the structure is connected by connection layers to two or more layers of thermo-electric material on the heat dispersing side of the structure. In a third type of structure the elements of which the structure is comprised are arranged to cause different values of electric current to flow at the heat absorbing and the heat dispersing sides of the structure and through different elements in the interior of the structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 6, 2011Publication date: March 1, 2012Applicant: Lamos Inc.Inventors: Noam Danenberg, David Maron

Publication number: 20110100406Abstract: The invention is a Split-Thermo-Electric Structure (STES) and devices and systems that utilize said structure. The STES comprises a first thermo-electric element at an elevated temperature and a second thermo-electric element at a low (cold) temperature. The first thermo-electric element and the second thermo-electric element are connected by either an intermediate connection that conducts both electric current and heat or by a thermo-electric chain comprised of one or more thermo-electric elements. Each pair of the thermo-electric elements in the chain are connected by an intermediate connection that conducts both electric current and heat. Each of the thermo-electric elements and each of the intermediate connections in the STES exhibit a temperature-gradient. The STESs can be utilized in Seebeck or Peltier devices. The STESs can be utilized to construct devices comprised a plurality of n-type and p-type pairs of STESs, wherein each of the STESs in the device are connected at each end to a support layer.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 2, 2009Publication date: May 5, 2011Applicant: LAMOS INC.Inventor: Noam Danenberg
