Abstract: A system and method is provided for optimizing energy collection from a plurality of energy generators, which have different IV-characteristics thus defining over-performing and under-performing energy generators. Optimization of the energy collection is implemented by providing a power redistribution unit electrically connected to the plurality of electrically connected energy generators. The power redistribution unit comprises a bus-connector and at least two electric coupling assemblies electrically connectable to the bus-connector.
