  • Patent number: 5772096
Abstract: A box nailing machine includes a piston within a cylinder to drive a nail. A main selector valve introduces compressed air into the cylinder and discharges the compressed air from the cylinder. A start operation valve operates the main selector valve. A trigger device for the box nailing machine comprises: a trigger switch operated by a trigger lever; a contact switch operated by the contact arm; an electromagnetic valve serving as the start operation valve; a logical circuit for applying a drive current to the electromagnetic valve when both the trigger switch and the contact switch are turned on; and a controller which includes a timer with a predetermined time limit. The timer is started in accordance with a trigger signal of the trigger switch and prohibits the drive current from the electromagnetic valve when the timer counts the predetermined time period. The timer is reset upon release of the trigger.

  • Patent number: 5597106
Abstract: The operation mode of a nailing machine can be automatically and reliably switched, for its selection, from the successive nailing mode and the one-shot nailing mode and vice versa by changing the order of operating a trigger lever and a contact arm. In the selected mode, the nailing work can be performed. By releasing both the trigger lever and the contact arm, the machine is returned to its initial mode. When the contact arm is moved to the top dead center after the trigger lever is operated, a portion of a slide die comes in contact with the underside of the trigger lever. When the trigger lever is operated after the contact arm is moved to the top dead center, the portion of the slide die comes in contact with the upper side of the trigger lever, thereby preventing a further movement of the contact arm to the bottom dead center.

  • Patent number: 4992329
Abstract: A magnetic-shielding sheet comprising a laminated-structure layer of soft magnetic amorphous alloy flakes, said soft magnetic amorphous alloy flakes being of 5 to 100 .mu.m thick and 10-15000 in aspect ratio (ratio of maximum length to maximum thickness) is provided.

  • Patent number: 4876143
Abstract: A rob material includes an elongated matrix made of synthetic resin, a plurality of first elongated textile elements, and a plurality of second elongated textile elements, the first and second elements being embeded within the matrix, parallel to each other along the matrix, each of the first elements being composed of a plurality of yarns braided together, the second elements having a lower breaking elongation rate than said first elements. In such a rod material, the second elements have a substantially complete elasticity, and the first elements have such an elongation rate as to elongate further after the fracture of the second elements. Therefore, the stress-strain curve of the rod material shows a high elastic modulus in the elastic region and a high breaking elongation rate. In other words, the stress-strain behavior is similar to that of steel rods.

  • Patent number: 4687517
Abstract: The present invention provides a concrete composition having a heat resisting property and dimensional stability, which comprises a cement selected from the group consisting of a self-hardening cement, a latent hydraulic material, a mixed cement and a thermosetting cement, a hydraulic material, an aggregate, a carbonaceous material acting as a binder and selected from the group consisting of a powdered coke and pitch coke, and potassium titanate whisker. Since the concrete composition of the invention is resistant to firing and can be used at a high temperature, a solidified mass prepared therefrom can be applied with a glaze and heated to have an enamelled surface.
