    Abstract: A transport container for transporting a radiation shield member which is light and capable of preventing a radiation shield member from popping out from the transport container by accident. The container has a favorable operability, and is capable of easily separating a reusable portion and a portion other than the reusable portion. The transport container includes a cup-shaped sheath container, a radiation shield container accommodated in the sheath container and having concaves recesses, formed thereon, engaging wing-shaped holding members of the radiation shield member, a holding frame, mounted on the sheath container, for preventing the radiation shield container and the radiation shield member from being removed from the transport container, and a cover for closing the opening end of the sheath container.
