  • Patent number: 7236195
Abstract: A method for optimizing a selection of spectral sensitivities for an imaging device includes determining a first set of spectral sensitivities from an initial set of spectral sensitivities based on an analysis of one of a universal measure of goodness, a ?-Factor, and RMS noise. A second set of spectral sensitivities is determined from the first plurality of sets of spectral sensitivities based on an analysis of a different one of the universal measure of goodness, the ?-Factor, and the RMS noise. The second set of spectral sensitivities is an optimized set of spectral sensitivities.

  • Patent number: 6070689
Abstract: A driver's seat and an engine are disposed side-by-side to maximize the advantages of a mid-engine vehicle layout. A driver's seat is offset leftwards with respect to a center line of a vehicle body in a one-seater vehicle, and a power unit integrally provided with the engine and transmission is disposed on the right of the center line of the vehicle body. When viewed from the side of the vehicle, the seat and the power unit overlap each other. Thus, the inertial moment about a yaw axis of the vehicle is minimized to enhance the turning performance and moreover, the distribution of load to front wheels Wf and rear wheels Wr is made uniform to enhance the performance of the vehicle when in motion.

  • Patent number: 4872034
Abstract: Density range division of component dyes of a color hard copy which is obtained by the combination of quantized color image signals is performed so that the lightness of the gray scale of the color hard copy is equally divided in accordance with the level number of the quantized color image signals. The density range division is also characterized in that the lightness of the component dyes of the color hard copy is equally divided in accordance with the level number of the quantized color image signals.

  • Patent number: 4796086
Abstract: A color hard copy of a picture displayed on, for example, a screen of a color television set is obtained by a signal converter in which an inclination of brightness with respect to the saturation of a color of the hard copy is modified by a signal converting circuit so as to be in accord with an inclination of brightness with respect to the saturation of the displayed color picture, a signal level of a signal regarding the specific color designated by a color setter is changed, and the color development density of the specific color element designated by a dye amount setter is also changed, whereby a color hard copy in which the specific color is maximumly corrected can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4492552
Abstract: A combination long lower mold and pretension bench for the formation of prestressed concrete materials is constructed by serially connecting plurality of unit lower molds of concrete, attaching prestressing steel wire tension benches one each to the foremost and rearmost unit lower molds, and fastening the unit lower molds and the tension benches collectively with steel wires. Prestressed concrete materials are obtained by stretching prestressing steel wires along the upper surface of the long lower mold, continuously pouring and placing stiff-consistency concrete on the long lower mold, causing a slide upper mold to run on the concrete thereby shaping the concrete in a required cross section, curing the shaped concrete strip, and cutting the cured concrete strip into pieces of a desired size.
