  • Patent number: 5175875
Abstract: A radio communication apparatus comprising a modulating portion for modulating a carrier with a signal to transmit so as to produce a transmissible signal; a signal transmitting portion for transmitting the transmissible signal; a level adjusting portion for adjusting a level of the signal to transmit or a level of a control signal used for controlling the transmissible signal in accordance with digital control data supplied to the level adjusting portions; a memory for storing digital adjusting data; and a control unit for reading the digital adjusting data from the memory and supplying the level adjusting portion with the digital adjusting data read from the memory or modified digital adjusting data obtained based on the digital adjusting data read from the memory as the digital control data.

  • Patent number: 5062132
Abstract: In a telephone system, when a predetermined key of a handset unit is operated data stored in a memory incorporated within the handset unit is transferred to a memory incorporated within another handset unit, so that data that was manually input for storage in the memory of the first handset unit can be copied to the memory of a second handset unit, to eliminate the requirement to manually input the same data into the second unit.

  • Patent number: 4432652
Abstract: A timer apparatus is provided such that an operation of switches for setting a timer working hour makes it possible to memorize the timer working hour in a timer circuit and also to display this timer working hour in a digital time display device, and, to obtain an output when this timer working hour arrives. In this timer apparatus, the switches for setting a timer working hour are composed of twelve switches disposed at a positional relation corresponding to 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock on the dial plate of a clock.

  • Patent number: 4320529
Abstract: A frequency counting apparatus is advantageously utilized as a frequency counter for displaying in a digital manner the frequency being received by a radio receiver. The inventive frequency counting apparatus includes a quartz resonator adapted to oscillate at the frequency of 2.sup.n Hz where n is a positive integer, for example 32,768 Hz, and a microprocessor including a programming unit, an operating unit for making operation in accordance with a program of the programming apparatus, a counter and a control unit. The program steps of the programming unit are made to progress based on the oscillation output signal of the quartz resonator. The counter is supplied with a local oscillation signal of a radio receiver. The local oscillation signal supplied to the counter is gated for a predetermined time period determined in accordance with the program of the programming unit, whereby the local oscillation signal is counted.

  • Patent number: 4298989
Abstract: In tuning apparatus, a sensor senses when a tune indicating signal has been produced by the IF section so as to enable an adjusting circuit to change the tuning condition of the apparatus by a predetermined frequency step and then to disable the adjusting circuit if the tune indicating signal still is sensed following this frequency change so as to maintain the last-attained tuning condition. Alternatively, if the tune indicating signal no longer is sensed after the tuning condition has been changed by the predetermined frequency step, the tuning section is returned to its preceding tuning condition by this predetermined frequency step.

  • Patent number: 4156196
Abstract: A radio receiver having RF, frequency converter, demodulator and audio stages, in which the frequency converter stage is connected to a local oscillator composed of a phase locked loop. The radio receiver includes a variable frequency divider inserted into the phase locked loop, a memory circuit for variably controlling the frequency dividing ratio of the frequency divider in accordance with a signal to be received, a scanning counter for supplying a read-out control signal to the memory circuit, a clock signal source for generating a clock signal, a counter control circuit for controlling supply and supply-terminating of the clock signal fed to the scanning counter, a level detecting circuit for detecting if a signal supplied to the RF stage has a level higher than a predetermined level, a switching circuit for switching a received channel, and a circuit for cutting off the clock signal fed to the scanning counter when outputs of the switching circuit and level detecting circuit are fed thereto.
