  • Publication number: 20240142830
Abstract: In a liquid crystal display device, a common electrode is formed on an organic passivation film, an interlayer insulating film is formed on the common electrode, a pixel electrode with a slit is formed on the interlayer insulating film, and a through hole is formed in the organic passivation film and the interlayer insulating film, so that the pixel electrode is connected to a source electrode of a TFT through the through hole. Further, the taper angle around the upper base of the through hole is smaller than the taper angle around the lower base. Thus, the alignment film material can easily flow into the through hole when the diameter of the through hole is reduced to connect the pixel and source electrodes, preventing display defects such as uneven brightness due to the absence of the alignment film or due to the alignment film irregularity around the through hole.

  • Publication number: 20020010102
Abstract: New sulfur-containing organophosphorus compounds of general formulae (I) and (II) and processes for producing the same; additives for lubricating oils, which contain the sulfur-containing organophosphorus compounds; and lubricating oil compositions satisfying requirements of extreme-pressure lubrication and abrasion resistance under severe conditions of high loads imposed, on automatic or continuously variable transmissions or the like. In said formulae, R1 is a hydrocarbon group having 6 to 20 carbon atoms; R2 is a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; n is an integer of 1 to 3; p is an integer of 0 to 2; and q is an integer of 0 or 1, with the proviso that p and q cannot be 0 at the same time.

  • Patent number: 5792731
Abstract: A lubricant composition for continuous variable transmissions which comprises a base oil and auxiliaries incorporated therein which are a sulfur-based extreme pressure additive (A), a phosphorus-based extreme pressure additive (B), and an alkaline earth metal-based detergent (C) It is superior in wear resistance and extreme pressure properties and keeps the coefficient of friction high for a long period of time, so that it is capable of transmitting a large capacity of torque when it is applied to an continuous variable transmission. It is particularly suitable for a transmission of metal belt type.

  • Patent number: 4677844
Abstract: A measuring apparatus for conducting a method of testing an apparent viscosity of grease. In this apparatus, four capillary tubes are connected to a cylinder and these capillary tubes are selectively opened to atmosphere one after another by a switching mechanism. When a piston is pushed by pressure applied to hydraulic oil supplied to one chamber formed in the cylinder, the grease contained in the other chamber is pushed out through one of the capillary tubes and the pressure required for the push-out is detected by a sensor. This measurement is repeated with each of the capillary tubes.

  • Patent number: 4663141
Abstract: A process for recovering or purifying selenium is disclosed. A selenium-containing material is reacted with carbon monoxide and ammonia or a primary or secondary amine to form a compound soluble in an aprotic solvent. The reaction product is subjected to the reverse reaction by heating it to liberate selenium, which is separated by filtration. The reaction is specific to selenium, and selenium can be separated from sulfur, tellurium, arsenic, halogen, etc. The used reagents can be recovered and used repeatedly.
