  • Publication number: 20220184611
Abstract: Provided is a microfluidic system comprising a microfluidic chip including a substrate having a vibrating section that, when irradiated by light, causes at least a portion of a substrate to vibrate, and at least one microfluidic structure arranged adjacent to the vibrating section such that vibration of the at least a portion of the substrate causes a vibration stimulus within the at least one microfluidic structure, the vibration stimulus causing a change in position of at least one particle when present in the at least one microfluidic structure.

  • Patent number: 9726890
Abstract: An image display device includes an image generating device, a light guide unit, and a light beam expanding device. The light guide unit includes a light guide plate, a first deflector, and a second deflector. The light beam expanding device expands a light beam incident from the image generating device along the Z direction and outputs the light beam to the light guide unit when the incident direction of light incident on the light guide plate is defined as the X direction and the propagation direction of light in the light guide plate is defined as the Y direction. The light beam expanding device is composed of a first reflective mirror on which light from the image generating device is incident and a second reflective mirror on which light from the first reflective mirror is incident and that outputs light to the light guide unit.

  • Patent number: 8876355
Abstract: A light guide includes an incident surface, an emitting surface, a reflecting surface, and a light guide section. The incident surface receives light from a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged at least in a first direction. The emitting surface outputs incident light from the incident surface. The reflecting surface includes a plurality of lenses having optical power in the first direction and a second direction different from the first direction and is provided to be opposed to the incident surface. The light guide section includes a surface including the incident surface, the emitting surface, and the reflecting surface, and causes the light that has entered from the incident surface to be reflected by the plurality of lenses of the reflecting surface to guide the light to the emitting surface.

  • Patent number: 7465084
Abstract: A light guiding plate includes: an X axis direction light distribution control section; and a diffuse reflection section. The X axis direction light distribution control section performs light distribution control by which the incident light is deflected such that a tilt of an X axis direction with respect to a normal direction approaches to zero, and outputted from the light emitting surface. A direction of the incident light is the X axis direction, a direction orthogonal to the X axis direction and parallel to the light emitting surface is a Y axis direction, and a direction vertical to the X axis direction and the Y axis direction is the normal direction. The diffuse reflection section reflects the guided incident light from the light incident surface to diffuse in the Y axis direction inside of the light guiding plate and guides to the X axis direction light distribution control section.
