  • Patent number: 10029460
Abstract: An inkjet head includes a substrate having plural ink inlet holes arranged along a first direction and plural ink outlet holes arranged generally along the first direction such that adjacent ink outlet holes are offset along the first direction, a plurality of partitioning walls made of piezoelectric material that define pressure chambers therebetween, each of the partitioning walls disposed on the substrate and generally extending in a second direction that crosses the first direction between the ink inlet holes and the ink outlet holes, and a nozzle plate disposed on the partitioning walls and having a plurality of nozzles, each of the nozzles being arranged on one of the pressure chambers.

  • Patent number: 9174442
Abstract: According to one embodiment, an inkjet head includes: a nozzle plate including plural nozzles; a piezoelectric element including plural pressure chambers corresponding to the nozzles and sidewalls provided adjacent to the pressure chambers and serving as driving elements configured to press the pressure chambers to eject liquid from the nozzles; a substrate to which the piezoelectric element is bonded; and a frame member placed on the substrate to surround the piezoelectric element. Grooves are formed on the upper end, and in which an adhesive is applied to bond the upper ends of the sidewalls and the nozzle plate.
