    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a thermoelectric material are provided. The thermoelectric material includes a sintered body formed of p-type and n-type thermoelectric materials for the thermoelectric conversion element. The thermoelectric materials have a MgAgAs type crystal structure as a main phase. An area ratio of internal defects of the thermoelectric materials for one thermoelectric conversion element is 10% or less in terms of a total area ratio of defective portions in a scanning surface according to ultrasonic flaw detection in a thickness direction of the thermoelectric material. No defect having a length of 800 ?m or more is present at any vertex of chips of the thermoelectric materials.

    Abstract: The invention provides an airbag apparatus including an airbag that is folded toward an inflator attaching part and that is accommodated within a pad functioning as a case such that the airbag is provided with first and second folded parts arranged on a cabin side from an inflator. A tear line is formed on the pad at a position deviated from a center of the inflator toward the first folded part and divides the case into a first door and a second door. In the airbag apparatus, the second folded part that is covered by the first door is folded in a bellows shape.

    Abstract: In a first step, a heat shrinkable film having openings on respective ends is arranged such that its axis extends along a deploying direction of a foldable portion of an airbag. The heat shrinkable film surrounds the foldable portion in a state where the first opening on the leading side in the deploying direction is arranged forward of the foldable portion in the deploying direction. In a second step, a surface perpendicular to the deploying direction of the airbag is defined as a projection plane. The heat shrinkable film shrinks by heat such that, on the projection plane, a first opening projected area, on which the first opening of the heat shrinkable film in the deploying direction is projected, becomes smaller than and included in a foldable portion projected area on which a deployment leading side portion of the foldable portion is projected.
