  • Patent number: 8695411
Abstract: A state of an oil pressure is determined based on combination of activation of an oil pressure switch and information of the temperature detected by a temperature sensor and an engine speed detected by an engine speed sensor such that determination of the oil-pressure state is conducted from a lower engine-speed range in a case in which the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is relatively low, compared with a case in which the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is relatively high. Accordingly, the oil-pressure state can be properly determined not only in a high engine-speed range but in a low engine-speed range, by utilizing the simple oil pressure switch activated to the conductive state in response to the oil pressure.

  • Patent number: 8256280
Abstract: Disclosed is an arrangement structure for a sensor to be mounted to an engine of a vehicle, wherein the engine is arranged in an engine compartment 2 of the vehicle in a posture allowing a crankshaft 8 of the engine to be oriented in a widthwise direction of the vehicle. The arrangement structure comprises a driveshaft 50 arranged along a vehicle-rearward lateral surface of the engine 1 facing in a rearward direction of the vehicle, to rotatably drive a front wheel, and a flange section 28a provided as a joining section between two members (12, 15) constituting the engine 1, to protrude in the rearward direction of the vehicle and at a height position below that of the driveshaft 50, wherein the sensor 42 is mounted to the vehicle-rearward lateral surface of the engine 1 at a height position located above the flange section 28a and in overlapping relation with the driveshaft 50 when viewed from a rear side of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20070273749
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to allow a cellular phone to establish a video-phone call even when there is an incoming video-phone call during the packet communications. The cellular phone system comprises a cellular phone and the Mobile Multimedia Switching Center (MMS). The MMS comprises a call type judgment section that judges, when a call request is made to the cellular phone, whether the call request is for a video-phone call; a communication status judgment section that judges whether the cellular phone is performing packet communications; and an adding section that adds call information to the effect that the call request is for a video-phone call to an incoming call signal in cases where the call request is for a video-phone call and packet communications are being performed.
