Patent number: 5829804Abstract: Disclosed is a resin composition for the making of automobile bumpers comprising specified amounts of (A) a specific propylene-ethylene block copolymer, (B) a specific propylene homopolymer, (C) (C1) an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber (EPM) and/or (C2) an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer rubber (EPDM), (D) talc, and optionally (E) a polyhydroxy polyolefin. This resin composition shows an improvement in flexural modulus of elasticity and low-temperature impact resistance and also has good processability by injection molding, especially in terms of planar smoothness. Moreover, when component (E) is added, this resin composition provides automobile bumpers having adequate coating adhesion and hence excellent paintability. Thus, this resin composition is highly suitable for use in the making of automobile bumpers.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 1996Date of Patent: November 3, 1998Assignees: Mitsui Chemicals, Inc., Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Yoshihisa Saeki, Kenji Hamabe, Kouzou Hayashi, Sachio Yokote, Hiromasa Marubayashi, Hiroyuki Toshino, Nobuhiro Imai, Masaya Akiyama

Patent number: 4916469Abstract: The image-forming apparatus comprises a first frame, a recording electrode with an image formation voltage applied thereto, a belt-like recording medium disposed facing the charging electrode and toner transporting means for supplying toner to a space between said recording electrode and recording medium. For the positioning of the belt-like recording medium with respect to the charging electrode, a second frame for movably supporting the recording medium is provided together with the recording electrode in the first frame. An recording medium feed member is urged against the second frame at a predetermined position thereof. Thus, the recording electrode and recording medium can be positioned relative to each other without need of any particular adjustment whenever the recording medium is replaced.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 1989Date of Patent: April 10, 1990Assignee: Canon Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Nobuhiro Imai, Tadashi Ochiai, Fumio Asano
