  • Patent number: 7878578
Abstract: A vehicle body front part structure includes a hood having a hood outer panel and a hood inner panel, and an impact absorber. The hood is openably and closably provided on an upper portion of a vehicle body constituent member. The impact absorber is interposed between the hood and the vehicle body constituent member and abuts against the vehicle body constituent member when the hood is closed. The impact absorber is mounted on the hood inner panel such that an end of the impact absorber projects toward the hood outer panel. The impact absorber includes upper and lower elastic portions. An impact inputted from the hood outer panel is absorbed such that the hood outer panel secondarily collides against the upper elastic portion. An impact caused when the hood is closed is absorbed such that the lower elastic portion abuts against the vehicle body constituent member.

  • Patent number: 7787915
Abstract: In a folding mobile radio device, a gain is lowered considerably in its close state under such a condition that an upper case is excited directly in its open state to aim at a wide band and a high gain is used as an antenna. A folding mobile radio device includes a first case, a second case, a jointing portion for connecting the first case and the second case to open/close, a conductor element arranged in the first case, and a feeding element arranged in the second case. Then, in an open state via the jointing portion, the conductor element and the feeding element come close to each other and are coupled magnetically at a time of feeding a power whereas, in a close state via the jointing portion, the conductor element and the feeding element are apart from each other rather than the open state and are not coupled magnetically at a time of feeding a power.

  • Publication number: 20090171543
Abstract: A shift controller controls a downshift to a low shift speed, spaced apart from a high shift speed by two or more steps, through an intermediate shift speed, by first releasing first and second shift release elements, then engaging a first shift engagement element, and finally engaging a second shift engagement element, while controlling the torque capacity of the second shift release element by feedback control. As a result of releasing the first and second shift release elements before engaging the first shift engagement element, it is possible to rev up an input rotation at maximum performance of an engine to reduce the time for shifting. As a result of the feedback control of the torque capacity of the second shift release element after engaging the first shift engagement element, a torque fluctuation at the intermediate shift speed can be reduced to avoid occurrence of an uncomfortable shift shock.

  • Patent number: 6755767
Abstract: The invention has been made to eliminate a feeling of two-phase speed-change operations by causing a speed-change operation to proceed continuously when the speed-change operation is performed through two-phase control of engagement and release of four engagement elements. To accomplish this purpose, the invention provides a control apparatus for an automatic transmission wherein a predetermined speed-change operation is achieved through a pre-phase speed-change operation in which a first engagement element and a third engagement element are released and engaged respectively and through a post-phase speed-change operation in which a second engagement element and a fourth engagement element are released and engaged respectively. The control apparatus sets a target rotational acceleration of an input shaft of the transmission, and controls release of the second engagement element for a transition to the post-phase speed-change operation in accordance with the target rotational acceleration.

  • Patent number: 6626786
Abstract: At the time of the 6→3 speed shift, an automatic transmission achieves a 6→4→3 speed shift by controlling the servo pressures of four engageable elements. A control apparatus controls the servo pressure of one engageable element in accordance with the servo pressures of other engageable elements. The engagement and release timings are adjusted by determining and controlling the oil pressures of the hydraulic servos, taking into consideration the 6→4 shift state (torque sharing) during a shift transitional period. Therefore, engine blow and prolongation are prevented during the 6→3 shift control.

  • Patent number: 6616560
Abstract: A shift control apparatus that advances activation of an engagement element to be engaged during a shift requiring engagement and release of four engagement elements, thereby reducing the shift time. The automatic transmission achieves a sixth-to-fourth-to-third shift by controlling servo pressures for the four engagement elements. The control apparatus starts, during the time of the sixth-to-third shift, supply of the hydraulic pressure for activating the engagement element to be engaged at the time of the fourth-to-third shift, thereby advancing the establishment of the engagement stand-by state at the time of the fourth-to-third shift. Accordingly, the reduction in the servo pressure of the engagement element to be released at the time of the fourth-to-third shift can be advanced, thereby reducing the time for the sixth-to-third shift.
