  • Patent number: 9266118
Abstract: Provided is an air purifier capable of increased air purification properties due to charged particles being blown out. A first air-blower blasts air, thus drawing air in from the outside to a first air-flow path, and an air-purification unit purifies the air and blows out same. A second air blower blasts air, thus drawing air in from the outside to a second air-flow path, and the air is blown out together with charged particles generated by a charged particle generator. A control unit controls the amount of air blasted by the second air-blower, according to the amount of air blasted by the first air-blower. Alternatively, the control unit controls the angle to be adjusted by the regulator, according to the amount of air blasted by the first air-blower.

  • Patent number: 9140462
Abstract: A charged particle emission and air-blowing device includes a communication port biased toward an end portion in a predetermined direction with respect to an air outlet, and a width expander configured to widen a flow path between an air directing plate of the end portion and a second blowing duct wider than a periphery. Emitted light from a light guide plate is reflected by the air directing plate in the delivery direction of an air flow. An air flow passes from a downward direction to an upward direction along a circuit board in an auxiliary suction path, and an opening portion faces the upper portion of the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 8034169
Abstract: An air cleaner that is capable of efficiently and effectively purifying and humidifying air. An air flow passage from air filters (4, 5) to a blower (8) is branched to first and second air flow passages (31, 32), and then these air flow passages join. A humidifying filter (14) is disposed in the first air flow passage (31), and a movable plate (35) for opening and closing the humidifying filter is disposed in the second air flow passage (32). The air cleaner comprises a control part (40) for controlling the opening and closing operation of the movable plate (35) and the rotating operation of the blower (8). A recess containing the air filters (4, 5) is formed in the front of the body (2) of the air cleaner. An air flow passage extending from under the recess to the back of the recess and bent upward is horizontally partitioned into upper and lower parts by a partition wall (27) to form the first air flow passage (31) and the second flow passage (32) in this order from the bottom.
