    Abstract: To provide a fiber-reinforced plastic from which fibers can be readily recovered in a reusable state. A fiber-reinforced plastic contains a matrix polymer compound having cleavable functional groups represented by Formula (1), where wavy lines represent bonds to other atoms. When the polymer compound having cleavable functional groups represented by Formula (1) is put into contact with an aqueous solution of hypochlorous acid or a salt thereof, scission occurs between the CO—NH bonds in Formula (1), resulting in conversion to a lower molecular weight compound. This matrix polymer compound is thereby soluble in an appropriate solvent and is separated from the fiber contained in the FRP.

    Abstract: Provided is a technology in which a control device of a converter performs gate cutoff for cutting off power supply to a load when one of a battery detection value obtained by a battery voltage sensor or a low-voltage-side detection value obtained by a low-voltage-side voltage sensor or both thereof are abnormal values. After the control device performs the gate cutoff, the control device determines whether or not a main body circuitry is abnormal based on the battery detection value and the low-voltage-side detection value. When the control device determines that the main body circuitry is not abnormal, the control device determines whether one of the battery voltage sensor or the low-voltage-side voltage sensor is abnormal based on the battery detection value, the low-voltage-side detection value, and a high-voltage-side detection value obtained by a high-voltage-side voltage sensor.

A distance measuring module includes a diffractive optical element, an imaging element, and a distance measuring unit. The measuring unit measures a distance from the subject by using triangulation on the basis of the imaged line light beams. Thus, by imaging the line light beams emitted via the diffractive optical element, the distance from the subject is measured with a simple structure.
