  • Publication number: 20240131621
Abstract: A laser machining device uses laser light to machine a workpiece disposed in a light-blocking liquid having light-blocking properties. A nozzle unit for the laser machining device includes an inner nozzle through which the laser light passes, a gas outlet port that blows a gas toward the workpiece in order to remove the light-blocking liquid from between the inner nozzle and the workpiece, and a swirler that causes the gas to swirl.

  • Patent number: 6268833
Abstract: An improved antenna device is provided which is easy to be made compact in size and easy to deflect a beam at a high speed. Further, a transmitting/receiving apparatus using the improved antenna device is provided which is capable of performing a detection within a large range. In particular, a primary radiator and a first transmission line combined with the primary radiator are provided on a movable section, a second transmission line electromagnetically combined with the first transmission line and a dielectric lens with a position of said primary radiator serving as a generally focal point surface are provided on a fixed section. Further, a structure is provided capable of deflecting the beam by displacing the movable section. Also, means is provided to detect the position of the movable section and a control means is provided for displacing the movable section in accordance with a position designating signal of the movable section.

  • Patent number: 6172648
Abstract: In a directional coupler comprising two separated dielectric guides, reflection and loss in the separation position (separated faces) is reduced. Furthermore, the beam of an antenna device comprising a primary emitter and a dielectric lens can be tilted quickly even by a low-torque motor. A moving portion and a fixed portion each comprise dielectric guides, and in addition, grooves are provided in opposing end faces of conductive plates thereof, at a distance from the electrode faces of the dielectric guides of approximately an integral multiple of half the wavelength of the transmitted waves. Furthermore, the dielectric guide of the directional coupler portion is a normal NRD guide, and the dielectric guide of another portion is a hyper NRD guide.
