  • Publication number: 20240051625
Abstract: In a rectifying mechanism, a left actuator and a right actuator are independently controlled based on a pressure of traveling wind to a vehicle, and a rotation amount of a left deflector and a rotation amount of a right deflector are independently adjusted. Therefore, positions of the deflectors can be appropriately adjusted according to a situation of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20230242192
Abstract: In a deflector device, a deflector body is rotated with respect to a case. A restriction plate of the case covers a divide between the deflector body and the case. Foreign matter is accordingly suppressed from ingression between the deflector body and the case by the restriction plate.

  • Publication number: 20230242184
Abstract: In a deflector device, a magnet is rotated when a deflector body is rotated, and a magnetic sensor also detects a rotational position of the magnet. Moreover, an interior of a housing body is partitioned by a motor base into a vehicle width direction outside of the interior and a vehicle width direction inside of the interior, with the magnet housed on the vehicle width direction outside of the interior of the housing body. The magnetic sensor is housed on the vehicle width direction inside of the interior of the housing body. This accordingly enables foreign matter ingression from the vehicle width direction outside of the interior of the housing body into the vehicle width direction inside thereof to be suppressed by the motor base, enabling foreign matter to be suppressed from reaching the magnetic sensor.

  • Publication number: 20230143257
Abstract: A flow deflecting device includes a flow deflecting body configured to be deployed to a front side of a front wheel and configured to be retracted in a vehicle body; a rotational mechanism, whereby the flow deflecting body is rotatable in an engaged state at the rotational mechanism; and a limiting mechanism, whereby rotation of the flow deflecting body is limitable in an engaged state at the limiting mechanism. In a case in which the flow deflecting body in a deployed position is acted upon by an external force, engagement with the rotational mechanism is released, and the flow deflecting body is rotated in the retraction direction in the engaged state at the limiting mechanism. In a case in which the flow deflecting body in a retracted position is acted upon by an external force, engagement with the limiting mechanism is released, and the flow deflecting body is rotated in the retraction direction in the engaged state at the rotational mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20230065474
Abstract: In a deflector device, when an external force acts on an deflector body while at a deployed position such that the deflector body is rotated in a stowing direction, even if further rotation of the deflector body in the stowing direction is restricted, the deflector body is rotated to the deployed position by an urging force of a torsion coil spring when the external force acting on the deflector body is released. This enables the deflector body to be rotated to the deployed position from anywhere over an entire rotatable range in the stowing direction by the urging force of the torsion coil spring. Thus, the torsion coil spring is able to rotate the deflector body to the deployed position in a suitable manner.

  • Patent number: 10676029
Abstract: An opening (irradiation opening (90A)), which faces an opening portion of an outer peripheral member and through which an optical axis of an optical member (lamp unit (46)) passes, is formed in a trunk portion (88) that, together with a viewing means (door mirror) for assisting viewing by a vehicle occupant of a vehicle, is covered by the outer peripheral member (visor cover). Further, a wall portion (106), which runs along a peripheral wall of the opening portion and, at a vehicle rear side portion, faces the peripheral wall at a radial direction side, is formed at the trunk portion. Air, which enters into the opening portion while the vehicle is traveling, passes-through a flow path that is bent by the peripheral wall and the wall portion, and the flow rate is reduced, and noise is suppressed.

  • Patent number: 9028080
Abstract: Foreign matter is effectively ejected from between a sliding portion and protruding portions. In a mirror surface angle adjustment device of a vehicle door mirror device, while a mirror holder is rotated and an angle of a mirror surface of a mirror is adjusted, a sliding portion of the mirror holder slides on protruding portions of the case. The protruding portions extend to be directed toward a rotating direction of the mirror holder. Therefore, when the sliding portion slides on the protruding portions, foreign matter is easily ejected from between the sliding portion and the protruding portions to sideward of the protruding portions, and foreign matter can be effectively ejected from between the sliding portion and the protruding portions. Therefore, the sliding portion can slide smoothly against the protruding portions, and the rotating of the mirror holder can be made stable.

  • Patent number: 8955993
Abstract: In a door mirror device, a drain wall is disposed on a peripheral edge portion of an open hole in a cover. A first inclined surface is arranged to be separated from and below the drain wall. In a case where liquid entering into the mirror device flows into the open hole in the cover, the liquid travels along the drain wall and flows downward. Then, the liquid reaches a distal end of the drain wall and falls from the distal end of the drain wall onto the first inclined surface. The liquid that has fallen onto the first inclined surface travels along the first inclined surface and flows out to a communication hole. Due to this, the liquid is discharged to below a stand via the communication hole, pooling of the liquid between a cover and a motor base above a support shaft can be suppressed.

  • Patent number: 8840259
Abstract: Motor bodies are housed between a case and a case-inner, with the whole of the outside-periphery surrounded by an outer peripheral wall. The upper-side-outer-peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall slopes continuously downwards on progression from an uppermost portion of the outer-peripheral face towards a vehicle right side edge of the outer-peripheral face, and slopes continuously downwards from the uppermost portion towards the vehicle left side edge of the outer-peripheral face. Accordingly, even suppose water is to reach the upper side of the upper-side-outer-peripheral face, the upper-side-outer peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall causes such water to always flow downwards towards the lower side of the outer-peripheral wall, and hence water can be suppressed or prevented from remaining standing on the upper-side-outer peripheral face of the outer-peripheral wall 46, enabling water to be suppressed or prevented from seeping in to the motor bodies.

  • Patent number: 8833949
Abstract: Suppressing liquid from seeping into an adjusting section through a discharge hole. In a vehicle door mirror device an opening hole in a holder portion of a mirror-surface adjustment-device is in communication with opening outlet of a mirror holder outer through an opening outlet in the mirror holder outer and a gap between the mirror and the mirror holder outer. Accordingly, even suppose water seeps into the mirror-surface adjustment-device through the opening hole in the holder portion, the water would be externally discharged outside the mirror holder outer through the opening hole, the opening outlet, the gap and the opening outlet. Furthermore, even suppose water at high pressure from outside the mirror holder outer is to reach the opening outlet, the water can be suppressed from seeping into the mirror-surface adjustment-device through the opening outlet and the opening hole due to the water pressure being reduced in the gap.
