  • Publication number: 20120201989
Abstract: Provided is a resin molded product in which a lid body is prevented from being erroneously mounted. An upper bumper (1) is molded from synthetic resin such that a product body (1h) thereof has a predetermined thickness (T). The product body (1h) is provided with a recessed portion (1a) that can accommodate a head portion (5a) of a bolt (5). The upper bumper (1) is provided with a cap (1b) that covers an opening (11k) of the recessed portion (1a). The upper bumper (1) is provided with a band-shaped hinge body (1c) that connects the cap (1b) and the product body (1h) and has a bendable thin thickness (t). The product body (1h), the cap (1b), and the hinge body (1c) are integrally molded while the hinge body (1c) is developed.

  • Patent number: 5249034
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for inspecting an end of an object for a defect by which not only a defect caused by deformation of an end of an object in a horizontal direction but also another defect caused by deformation in a vertical direction can be detected with a high degree of accuracy. Light from an end portion of an object is received by a pair of one- or two-dimensional image sensors and disposed at a predetermined angle relative to each other, and brightness outputs of individual picture elements of the image sensors are stored into memories. From the stored signals, a bright line produced by light from an edge of the object end portion is detected for each image sensor, and a position of the bright line is calculated as a digital amount from a number of picture elements for each image sensor. Then, the digital amounts are added and substracted between the image sensors. A defect is judged from results of the addition and subtraction.

  • Patent number: 5216481
Abstract: A method of and an apparatus for inspecting a transparent object for a defect wherein both of a light blocking defect and a refracting defect can be discriminated not only for presence or absence thereof but also for a shape and a kind thereof and besides discrimination of a small defect can be performed with a high degree of accuracy. According to the method, a pitch of strips of a reference striped pattern is detected in prior. Then, an object for inspection is placed at an inspecting position, and light having the reference pattern is projected upon the object and transmission light is photographed by an image sensor. A threshold value is set from an average value between two picture element data spaced from each other by one half the detected pitch, and the picture element data are successively compared with the threshold value to determine the bright or the dark thereof. A defect of the object is discriminated from numbers of picture elements determined as the bright and the dark.

  • Patent number: 4811251
Abstract: A vessel opening top inspection apparatus which can accurately detect presence or absence of an overpress finish of a vessel such as a bottle. The apparatus comprises a projector, an image sensor, a memory, a top detecting means including a top width detecting means and a width judging means, and an overpress finish detecting means. Light projected by the projector and reflected from an opening top of a vessel in position for inspection is received by the image sensor outputs of cells of which are stored as digital amounts individually into cells of the memory specified by corresponding addresses whereafter the digital amounts are judged one after another to detect the opening top and then the digital amounts are judged one after another for addresses after such detection to detect presence or absence of an overpress finish on the vessel depending upon the magnitude of the digital amounts.
