  • Publication number: 20240131621
Abstract: A laser machining device uses laser light to machine a workpiece disposed in a light-blocking liquid having light-blocking properties. A nozzle unit for the laser machining device includes an inner nozzle through which the laser light passes, a gas outlet port that blows a gas toward the workpiece in order to remove the light-blocking liquid from between the inner nozzle and the workpiece, and a swirler that causes the gas to swirl.

  • Patent number: 11772183
Abstract: A plasma torch moves to a piercing position. The plasma torch generates a plasma arc and starts a piercing step at the piercing position. Whether the piercing step is completed is determined based on the arc voltage. The plasma torch is held at the piercing position in the horizontal direction from the start of the piercing step until the completion of the piercing step. The plasma torch is moved in a predetermined direction including at least the horizontal direction after the piercing step is completed.

  • Publication number: 20230191538
Abstract: A laser processing device is a device that processes a workpiece using a laser beam, and includes a cutting pallet and a container. The cutting pallet includes a placement unit that supports a lower surface of the workpiece. The container supports the cutting pallet and is capable of storing a transmission inhibition liquid inhibiting transmission of light having a wavelength greater than or equal to 0.7 µm and less than or equal to 10 µm up to a height position of the placement unit.

  • Patent number: 11623296
Abstract: A plasma cutting machine cuts a work piece with a plasma arc. The plasma cutting machine includes a plasma torch, a drive device, and a controller. The plasma torch includes an electrode and a nozzle and generates the plasma arc. The drive device moves the plasma torch. The controller includes a storage device and controls the drive device. The storage device records information pertaining to the plasma cutting machine. The controller acquires a weight of a work piece. The controller acquires a consumption amount of at least one of the electrode and the nozzle. The controller records, in the storage device, processing performance data including the weight of the work piece and the consumption amount correlated with each other.

  • Publication number: 20220124902
Abstract: A plasma torch includes an electrode, a center pipe, and a coolant passage. The electrode includes an internal passage, a tip portion, a convex portion, and an electrode insert. The center pipe is at least partially arranged in the internal passage of the electrode. The center pipe includes first and second pipe ends. The coolant passage first, second, third, and fourth passages. A coolant flows from the first passage through the second passage and the third passage to the fourth passage. At least a part of the convex portion is arranged in the center pipe. The inner surface of the center pipe includes a first inclined surface having a diameter that decreases toward a distal direction. The distal direction is a direction extending from the second pipe end to the first pipe end. The first inclined surface extends toward the root portion of the convex portion.
