Abstract: A process for producing a polyurethane elastic material or polyurethane elastic yarn from a first polymer diol having a molecular weight of 600 or more, a second polymer diol having a molecular weight of 600 or more, a first low molecular weight diol having a molecular weight of 500 or less, a second low molecular weight diol, a first diisocyanate and a second diisocyanate as main starting materials, the total amount of the first diisocyanate and the second diisocyanate in the starting materials being 0.95 to 1.

Abstract: The invention presents an antithrombotic resin which is prepared by blending at least one type of antithrombotics, in polyurethane or polyurethane urea polymerized by using at least one type of polyether diol selected from the group consisting of polyol containing a polyoxyethylene group expressed in formula (I).paren open-st.CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O.paren close-st..sub.n (I)(where n is a number-average degree of polymerization of 1 to 100) and polyol containing a polyoxyethylene group expressed in formula (II).paren open-st.CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O.paren close-st..sub.m(II)(where m is a number-average degree of polymerization of 1 to 100). This antithrombotic resin is capable of eluting the antithrombotic in the blood for a long time at high concentration. By using the antithrombotic resin of the invention, antithrombotic tube, antithrombotic film, antithrombotic coat, and others are obtained.

Abstract: A polyurethane containing a metal phthalocyanine in the main chain is a novel compound and can be divided into two groups; one of which is a linear polymer and the other of which is a cross-linked polymer. This substance is useful as a redox catalyst due to the peculiar properties of the metal phthalocyanine. The polyurethane can be prepared by reacting a metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid with thionyl chloride to obtain a metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid polychloride; synthesizing a metal phthalocyanine polyhydroxy ester from the metal phthalocyanine polycarboxylic acid polychloride and a diol: HO--R.sup.1 --OH through a dehydrochlorination; and then addition-condensation-polymerizing the resulting metal phthalocyanine polyhydroxy ester, a diol: HO--R.sup.2 --OH and a diisocyanate.
