  • Patent number: 5596942
Abstract: In a sewing device for feeding a sewn product through a given gap defined between the feeding surface of a sewing machine table and forward feeding members provided above the feeding surface, a sewn product supporting member for carrying the sewn product thereon is provided under the feeding members on the feeding side of the sewn product and a vertically driving unit for vertically moving the sewn product supporting member between the height of the feeding surface and that below the same is attached thereto. When the sewn product supporting member is lifted, the front end portion of the sewn product is brought into close contact with the feeding members uniformly and certainly. The feeding members subsequently feed the sewn product toward the feeding surface of the sewing machine table with certainty without rolling in or pulling the front end portion of the sewn product. As a result, it is possible to efficiently fabricate a sewn product of even and high quality.

  • Patent number: 5458074
Abstract: A sewing device comprises endless conveyer belts for feeding a sewn product on a feeding surface, a feeding drive unit, a sewn product supporting member which is provided under the endless conveyer belts on the feeding side of the sewn product and a cloth end detecting means which is provided between the needle position line of a pair of sewing machines and the sewn product supporting member for detecting either of the front end portion or the rear end portion of a preceding sewn product when a given interval is formed between the preceding sewn product which has been fed by the endless conveyer belts and a following sewn product which is placed on the sewn product supporting member, wherein the feeding drive unit starts operation upon completion of lifting of the sewn product supporting member which carries the following sewn product thereon and stops operation when the cloth end detecting means detects either of the front end portion or the rear end portion of the preceding sewn product.

  • Patent number: 5299515
Abstract: A towel cloth positioning device comprises a plurality of projectors provided above a work table for projecting indication marks on the hemming portion of a sheet of towel cloth which is cut piece by piece and is placed on the work table so as to indicate given positions on the hemming portion thereof and pressing units for pressing the towel cloth at the hemming portion thereof on the work table by way of pressing members capable of individually pressing the hemming portion of the towel cloth. Inasmuch as the edge of the hemming portion of the towel cloth can be accurately cut at the edge thereof, it is possible to effectively produce a high quality towel. Moreover, inasmuch as the positioning according to the positioning patterns is performed a plurality of times, it is possible to place various kinds of towel cloths along a line indicated by the positioning patterns with ease and accuracy.

  • Patent number: 4926906
Abstract: A spool valve has a valve housing with a valve bore formed therein, a spool having a land portion slidably accommodated in the valve bore, a control port formed within the valve housing, able to communicate with the valve bore, and opened and closed by the land portion, and an annular groove open at an inner peripheral surface of the valve bore and communicating with the control port. Part of the control port is open over the inner and outer parts, as taken in the widthwise direction, of the annular groove. The degree of opening of the port is variably controlled by the displacement of the land portion.

  • Patent number: 4905961
Abstract: An electromagnetic actuator includes a housing and a pair of stators cooperating with the housing to form a magnetic circuit for a solenoid. Each of the pair of stators has a tubular portion, and the tubular portions of the pair of stators have their one ends disposed in the opposed spaced relation to each other. The solenoid is mounted around the tubular portions of the pair of stators, and an armature is received in the tubular portions of the pair of stators so as to be movable along the axis of the tubular portions. The armature is supplied with a force when an electric current is applied to the solenoid. In order to keep the magnetic resistance of the magnetic circuit to a low level, one of the pair of stators is formed integrally with one end of a tubular body of the housing so that the housing and the one stator constitute a unitary member.
