  • Patent number: 6335759
Abstract: A pinhole camera in which a conical lens with an apical angle of 91.13° to 91.15° is used to correct the fisheye characteristics, and ⅓-inch fixed charged coupled device and a pinhole with a diameter of 0.8 mm are adopted to obtain clear image of a subject in an range from a point closely adjacent to the camera to a point far from the camera with strong contrast. The pinhole video camera comprising: a printed circuit board to which ⅓-inch fixed coupled charged device is attached; a holder fixed so as to cover a front surface of the coupled charged device of the printed circuit board; a lens holder having a pinhole with a diameter of 0.8 mm; a conical convex lens with an apical angle of 91.13° to 91.15°, the conical convex lens fixed on a rear face side of the pinhole of the lens holder.

  • Patent number: 4592778
Abstract: A process for producing an extremely low carbon steel in a top- and bottom-blown converter. The process is characterized in top-blowing a mixed gas of oxygen gas and an inert gas onto a molten steel in the top- and bottom-blown converter. The mixed gas is blown through a top-blowing lance at the final decarburization stage, while a gas (selected from a group consisting of an inert gas, oxygen gas and a mixture of oxygen and an inert gas) is bottom-blown into the molten steel in the converter.

  • Patent number: 4443459
Abstract: An .alpha.-tocopheryl 5-substituted picolinate of the formula ##STR1## wherein R represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent, a lower alkenyl group, a phenyl(lower alkyl) group, or a phenyl group which may have a substituent, and Q represents a methylene group or an oxygen or sulfur atom, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof. This compound can be produced by reacting a substituted picolinic acid of the formula ##STR2## wherein R and Q are as defined above, or its reactive derivative with .alpha.-tocopherol of the formula ##STR3## and as required, contacting the resulting compound with a pharmaceuticlly acceptable acid. A pharmaceutical composition comprising said compound as an active ingredient is useful for the treatment of hypertension.

  • Patent number: 4436287
Abstract: Wear of tuyeres for refining a molten iron is prevented by blowing a CO-containing gas having the defined flow amount, oxygen gas flow amount and CO gas concentration as a shrouding gas which surrounds a core refining gas flow containing oxygen gas through tuyeres of concentric pipes. As the shrouding gas for cooling and protecting the tuyeres, use may be made of an exhaust gas discharged and recovered from a converter or a blast furnace by controlling the concentrations of CO and N.sub.2 in the exhaust gas to the specific limitations.
