  • Patent number: 6019500
Abstract: An apparatus for measuring cumulative time of operation time of an electrical equipment is comprised of a CPU having a nonvolatile memory and a RAM. This apparatus executes the following steps: (1) reading cumulative time data Ts of the nonvolatile memory and presetting it to a timer counter of the RAM when a measurement command is turned on wherein Ts is a value represented by Ts=(A minutes.times.n+A/2 minutes) when n is a positive integer; (2) measuring ON time on the timer counter in which Ts is preset; (3) checking as to whether the ON time becomes integer time A minutes; (4) When the ON time becomes integer times A minutes, the sum of the ON time and A/2 minutes is read in the nonvolatile memory as Ts. Therefore, the accumulated error of the cumulative time is decreased.

  • Patent number: 5390074
Abstract: A chip-type solid electrolytic capacitor includes a cathode conductive layer provided on a whole surface of a cathode layer formed on an outer surface of a capacitor element, which whole surface is opposite to a surface where an anode lead wire is lead out, and on a surface adjacent to the first-mentioned whole surface. With this arrangement, if the capacitor element is obliquely inserted into a mold during the formation of a resin shell, the inner walls of the mold will not come into contact with cathode layer of the capacitor element, but will instead come into contact with the cathode conductive layer to prevent the cathode layer from being exposed to the resin shell. As a result, any possible damage to the cathode layer of the capacitor element when the peripheral surface of the resin shell on a cathode side is subjected to roughening is prevented to eliminate defects in electric characteristics such as leakage of electric current and a tan.delta. value.

  • Patent number: 4814653
Abstract: A hermetic dynamic machine has a main part supporting a rotor shaft and having a main part cooler, an external fan provided on one end of the rotor shaft, an end cover which covers the end of the main part adjacent to the external fan and having a cooling air inlet formed therein, a bearing provided on the portion of the rotor shaft adjacent to the external fan. The dynamic machine further has a cooling air system which is constituted by a first cooling air passage for guiding the flow of the cooling air from the air inlet to the external fan, a second cooling air passage through which air for cooling the bearing flows and a third cooling air passage through which cooling air from the external fan is introduced into the main part cooler. A first connecting pipe provides a communication between the first and second cooling air passages, while a second connecting pipe provides communication between the second and third cooling air passages.
