  • Publication number: 20110023368
Abstract: A power window apparatus for opening and closing a window glass actuates a window regulator based on power transmitted from the output gear of a motor to the sector gear of a window regulator. A range in which the output gear and the sector gear mesh with each other includes a normal operation range and a low speed operation range. In the normal operation range, the window glass is moved at a normal speed. In the low speed operation range, the window glass is moved at a speed lower than the normal speed from a near-fully closed position to a fully closed position of the window glass.

  • Publication number: 20100320857
Abstract: Each of a plurality of brushes is tilted relative to an imaginary plane that is perpendicular to a rotational axis of an armature and is placed on one axial side of a brush holder, at which an interior of a yoke housing is located. A radial inner end part of each brush has a slide contact surface, which is generally parallel to the rotational axis of the armature and slidably contacts an outer peripheral surface of a commutator. At least a portion of the slide contact surface of each brush is axially disposed outside of an opening of the yoke housing.

  • Patent number: 7109617
Abstract: A holder-side connecting portion 10c provided on a brush holder 10 and a connector-side connecting portion 16b provided on a connector portion 16 are electrically and mechanically connected with each other. The holder-side connecting portion 10c and the connector-side connecting portion 16b are clamped between a yoke housing 4 and a gear housing 21. For this reason, the connecting portions 10c and 16b for connecting the brush holder 10 and the connector portion 16 are prevented from being externally exposed. As a result, the insulation of the connecting portions 10c and 16b can be secured without complicating the construction of the connecting portions 10c and 16b by applying a special seal or the like to the connecting portions 10c and 16b.
