  • Publication number: 20190180062
Abstract: A radio wave reception unit (radio wave receiving means) receives a response signal of an RFID tag (wireless tag) with respect to signals of a first frequency and a second frequency different from each other transmitted by a radio wave transmission unit (radio wave transmitting means). Then, a phase difference calculation unit (phase difference calculating means) calculates a phase difference between a plurality of response signals received by the radio wave reception unit. The information determination unit (information determining means) selects an RFID tag from which the identification number (identification information) is to be read based on the calculated phase difference. Then, the tag information reading unit (tag information reading means) reads the identification number (identification information) registered in the selected RFID tag.

  • Patent number: 8218688
Abstract: A quadrature demodulator generates an I-signal from a modulated reception signal and a local signal, generates a Q-signal from the local signal and the local signal having a phase shifted through 90 degrees. Capacitors remove DC components from the I- and Q-signals. Low-pass filters remove frequency components higher than the frequencies of the I- and Q-signals. An I-signal squaring section squares the I-signal having passed through the low-pass filters. A Q-signal squaring section squares the Q-signal having passed through the low-pass filters. An adding section adds the squared I-signal and the squared Q-signal together. A comparator then compares the level of an S1 signal resulting from the addition with a threshold to obtain an S2 signal. A data generating section of a digital signal processing section executes a process of inverting the signal level of the S2 signal at every rising edge of the S2 signal to demodulate reception data.

  • Patent number: RE44631
Abstract: A mount sheet having a plurality of radio tags attached at an interval to it is run over a radio communicating section. The radio communicating section has a metal member providing a conveying surface with a slit formed therein. A dielectric member is arranged on a lower surface of the metal member with a projecting section inserted into the slit and, by doing so, the top surface of the projecting section is set flush with the top surface of the metal member. An antenna of the radio communicating section is located beneath the projecting section of the dielectric member and this antenna is held within the metal case. When any radio tag being an object of a radio communication is located over the slit, the radio communicating section positively makes radio communication with the radio tag through the antenna.
