  • Patent number: 6704038
Abstract: A dynamic pressure bearing apparatus having high performance and excellent stability without hindering operations of appliances due to a leaked oil, the dynamic pressure bearing apparatus including: a rotating shaft inclined in a predetermined direction from a vertical direction; a sleeve rotatably supporting the rotating shaft; an operating fluid for generating a dynamic pressure, the operating fluid being filled in a gap formed between the sleeve and the rotating shaft; and a capturing device for capturing the operating fluid leaked from the gap, the capturing device being disposed on an outside surface of the sleeve in the predetermined direction.

  • Publication number: 20030173508
Abstract: The present invention has as its object to provide a light source unit in which the relative portion of a detecting device and a condensing device is accurately determined, whereby the detecting device can reliably detect a laser beam, and a scanning optical apparatus using the same, and for this purpose, the present invention provides a scanning optical apparatus having a light source, a holding member for holding the light source, a deflecting device for deflecting light emitted from the light source, a detecting device for detecting the light deflected by the deflecting device, and a condensing lens for condensing the light incident on the detecting device, wherein the holding member positions the detecting device, and holds the condensing lens.

  • Patent number: 5487083
Abstract: Radio zones 2a through 2d are each assigned radio frequency channels of the number corresponding to the zone traffic, one frequency f1 of the radio frequency channel is assigned in common to all radio zones, and radio channels of the same frequency are assigned spectrum spreading codes different for each zone. A mobile station is provided with two correlators 14 and 15. If the received signal level lowers when the mobile station stays in the radio zone 2a and is in conversation over the channel of a frequency f2, the mobile station once switches the communication to a channel of the common frequency f1 and continues the communication using one of the correlators, while at the same time the mobile station scans spectrum spreading codes for control channels of the respective radio zones by the other correlator for measuring the received signal levels of the control channels and determines a destination radio zone which provides the maximum received signal level.

  • Patent number: 5018463
Abstract: A clamping mechanism installed on a circulating conveyor is composed of a clamp and a supporting plate and a latch lever axially attached to the supporting plate. The clamp is designed to be opened to a specified extent by a coiled spring. When the clamp is closed against the operation of the coiled spring, it engages with a latch of a latch lever so as to be locked.A cloth sent out from the sewing machine advances between the opened clamp and the supporting plate. The clamp is closed by an air cylinder and clamps the cloth. When the latch lever engages with a limiting lever set at a specified position in the direction of movement of the conveyor, the lock is unlocked, and the clamp is opened to release the cloth.

  • Patent number: 4185257
Abstract: One of ports of a 3dB hybrid for dividing and combining electromagnetic waves is used as an input port, and first and second resonators are electromagnetically coupled respectively with two ports to which the electromagnetic waves incident from the input port are outputted after being divided. The first and second resonators respectively comprise pluralities of opposed coupling disks sequentially arranged in the direction of travel of the electromagnetic waves and first and second reflectors disposed opposite the coupling disks farthest from the hybrid. The numbers of coupling disks of the first and second resonators are selected to differ by one. The remaining port of the hybrid is used as an output port.
