  • Patent number: 11954509
Abstract: In a case where an active system virtual server detects stopping of a heartbeat received from a standby system virtual server, the active system virtual server notifies a coordination apparatus of the detection of the stopping of a heartbeat. In addition, the active system virtual server reports whether or not a service is operating to the coordination apparatus. The coordination apparatus instructs the standby system virtual server to restart the system in a case where the stopping of a heartbeat and the operation of a service are received. The standby system virtual server restarts the service, restarts an operating system, or restarts the operating system in a case where the restart of the service is not successful, in response to an instruction for restarting the system.

  • Patent number: 10746175
Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a casing having a cylindrical barrel and lid, a compression mechanism having fixed and movable scrolls, and a suction passage that sends a fluid into a compression chamber. The fixed scroll includes a fixed-side end plate, a fixed-side wrap standing upright on the fixed-side end plate, and a suction hole. The suction hole is capable of communicating with the compression chamber. The suction passage includes an insertion pipe portion inserted into a through hole of the lid, and an in-plate passage formed in the fixed-side end plate and having an outflow opening opened toward the suction hole. A center of the through hole is closer to an axis of the barrel than a center of the outflow opening of the in-plate passage. An entirety of the suction passage is positioned radially outward of a portion, of the through hole, closest to the axis of the barrel.

  • Patent number: 9922952
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device is provided. A bonding tool with a wire tail extending out of the tip thereof is lowered to bring the tip of the wire tail into contact with a bonding surface of the semiconductor device. Next, the bonding tool in a direction intersecting with the axial direction of the bonding tool (Z direction) is moved to bend the wire tail with the tip of the wire tail in contact with the bonding surface. Then the bonding tool is lowered to form the wire tail into a predetermined shape such that the tip of the wire tail points upward. And then, a wire looping step, a second bonding step and a wire cutting step are performed. This allows the wire tail to be formed easily and efficiently into a predetermined shape.

  • Patent number: 9568000
Abstract: A compressor includes a casing, a compression mechanism, a drive shaft, a main frame, a motor, a flow path forming member, and a temperature measuring mechanism. The casing stores lubricating oil in its bottom portion. The main frame has the compression mechanism placed on it and supports the drive shaft in such a way that the drive shaft may freely rotate. The flow path forming member forms an oil flow path at a space adjacent an inner peripheral surface of the casing. The oil flow path carries a flow of lubricating oil, which lubricates sliding portions including the compression mechanism and the drive shaft. The temperature measuring mechanism is disposed outside the casing. The temperature measuring mechanism measures the temperature of a section of an outer peripheral surface of the casing adjacent the oil flow path.

  • Patent number: 9190604
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a thin board-shaped fired piezoelectric body has: a step of manufacturing, using a piezoelectric material, a green sheet having a ratio T/L of 0.000002 to 0.2, where T is the thickness and L is the maximum length within the surface after firing; and a step of obtaining the thin board-shaped fired piezoelectric body with reinforcing members for firing by performing firing after disposing the reinforcing members for firing by scattering at least on one surface of the green sheet so as to exclude the areas to be the thin board-shaped fired piezoelectric body later. The piezoelectric body which has excellent planarity and a thin board shape can be manufactured at low cost by the method.

  • Patent number: 8497733
Abstract: The present invention quickly detects an offset and prevents cutoff of low frequency signals. Offset detection circuits smooth an output of a variable gain amplifier at a predetermined time constant and detects the offset, which is a DC component. The detected offset is added to the input of the variable gain amplifier by an adder and the offset in the output of the variable gain amplifier is corrected. The time constant in the offset detection circuit is changed by the resistance values of the variable resistors. Then, the time constant is changed to a small time constant when the gain of the variable gain amplifier is changed and thereafter to a large time constant.

  • Publication number: 20130179957
Abstract: The present invention shortens the time required for watch list verification, and shortens the time required generally for the personal identification processing which includes watch list verification. In a personal identification system, a biometric information watch list comparison function (31) performs a first comparison of first biometric information in a traveler information DB (53), and biometric information on a biometric information watch list (52). Thereafter, a simplified alien immigration examination comparison function (41) performs a second comparison of the first biometric information in the traveler information DB (53), and second biometric information acquired by a biometric information acquisition function (62). As a result of the comparison, in the case where the difference between the time of the first comparison and the current time is within a previously defined time period, a terminal displays a first comparison result, and a second comparison result.

  • Publication number: 20130013527
Abstract: The present invention provides a system and a method for speeding up immigration. In first immigration, first biometric information is stored in a immigration biometric information DB. A normal immigration client terminal displays a first result of comparing an ID information watch list with a biometric information watch list. In subsequent second immigration, the first biometric information in the immigration biometric information DB is compared with second biometric information obtained by a simplified immigration client terminal. Then, the simplified immigration client terminal displays a second result of comparing the first biometric information with the watch list information that is added after the first comparison is done. Thus even if the number of registrations in a watch list database is large, a small amount of similar watch list information is displayed, reducing the time for checking the results by the operator.
