The silicone layer is formed from a silicone-containing compound having a viscosity of at least 6,000 centistokes at 25.degree. The binder is comprised of a cellulose derivative having a residual OH group in a proportion of 7.5 to 40%, a diolefin or olefin series synthetic rubber and a polyisocyanate compound. The medium has excellent video sensitivity and video signal to noise ratio.
