The control device changes the amount of variation per step of comparison voltage in accordance with a change of the type of film to the positive or to the negative, and limits the photodetectors to be used for controlling only to the photodetectors being capable of receiving the light of micro film image.

    Abstract: Herein disclosed is a coin selecting apparatus for selecting or classifying mixed coins in accordance with their diameters. The coin selecting apparatus includes a selecting track which is formed in its bottom with a plurality of selecting holes. These holes are arranged in a row in the flow direction of the coins and are sized to have stepwisely larger widths in the downstream direction of the coin flow so that they may allow the coins to pass down therethrough to be classified. The coin selecting apparatus further includes a selecting belt mechanism which is operative to convey the coins on the selecting track so that coins may fall into the selecting holes in order of increasing coin diameter.

    Abstract: Mixed coins to be assorted and counted are transferred in one direction on an assorting and counting track by an assorting belt mechanism. The transferred coins are allowed to fall through various holes differing in width in accordance with the sizes of the coins. There are disposed for each assorting hole an inclined counting stand having a width slightly larger than the diameter of corresponding coins to be introduced into the assorting hole and having one end thereof inclined and a counting device for counting the number of the coins introduced into the inclined counting stand.

    Abstract: A sorted coin counting apparatus for counting the number of various kinds of such mixed coins are made to fall into the various selecting holes, which are formed in the bottom of a coin selecting track, separately in accordance with the kinds thereof, while being unidirectionally conveyed on the selecting track, so that they may be sorted. The sorted coin counting apparatus includes a stacking cylinder for stacking therein each kind of the coins which have fallen into the corresponding selecting hole. Further inclusive is a counting conveyor belt mechanism which is operative to discharge the coins from the stacking cylinder to a counting passage and to convey the coins discharged to a collecting cylinder and further to a storage box through the counting passage. A counting gear is shaped and positioned to be stepwise turned by the coins which are being conveyed on the counting passage.

    Abstract: A coin selecting and counting machine for selecting and counting a number of mixed coins in accordance with the kinds thereof on the basis of differences in their diameters. The coin selecting and counting machine includes a rotary disc which is made rotatable for discharging the mixed coins by the centrifugal force thereof and a selecting and counting track formed with selecting holes for receiving the discharged mixed coins to allow the same to fall into the corresponding holes, while being unidirectionally conveyed one by one. The track is composed of a guide rail section, a curved rail section and a counting rail section. The curved rail section extends between the other two rail sections for changing the moving direction of the mixed coins to force the same into contact with its curved inner wall.
