  • Patent number: 6416594
Abstract: A heat shrink band steel sheet of the present invention comprises on the basis of percent in weight C: 0.1% or less, Si: 0.1% or less, Mn: 0.1 to 2%, P: 0.15% or less, S: 0.02% or less, sol Al: 0.08% or less, and N: 0.005% or less, or C: 0.005% or less, Si: 0.1% or less, Mn: 0.1 to 2%, P: 0.15% or less, S: 0.02% or less, sol Al: 0.08% or less, N: 0.005% or less, Ti: 0.02 to 0.06%, and B: 0.0003 to 0.005%, wherein the product of a magnetic permeability at the magnetic field of 0.3 Oe after heat shrinking treatment and a thickness (mm) is at least 350. A color CRT having a sufficient magnetic shielding characteristic and a less amount of color deviation can be realized by the steel sheet.

  • Patent number: 6139650
Abstract: A non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet contains 0.005 wt. % or less C, 0.2 wt. % or less P, 0.005 wt. % or less N, 4.5 wt. % or less Si, 0.05 to 1.5 wt. % Mn, 1.5 wt. % or less Al and 0.001 wt. % or less S, at least one element selected from the group of 0.001 to 0.05 wt. % Sb, 0.002 to 0.1 wt. % Sn, 0.0005 to 0.01 wt. % Se and 0.0005 to 0.01 wt. % Te; and the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities. The non-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is produced by the steps of: hot-rolling a slab to form a hot-rolled steel sheet, cold-rolling the hot-rolled steel sheet to form a cold-rolled steel sheet; and finish annealing the cold-rolled steel sheet.

  • Patent number: 5067551
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an alloy rod having giant magnetostriction, which comprises the steps of: supplying a granular or flaky alloy material, which comprises at least two rare earth metals including terbium and dysprosium and at least one transition metal, into a tubular crucible in an inert gas atmosphere kept under a pressure of from 0.2 to 10 atm., arranged in a vertical cylindrical heating furnace; totally melting the alloy material in the crucible in the heating furnace; and then vertically moving any one of the crucible and the heating furnace at a speed of from 0.1 to 5.0 mm/minute in a temperature region of from 1,270.degree. to 1,180.degree. C. of the heating furnace, in which a temperature decreases at a temperature gradient of from 10.degree. to 100.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5063986
Abstract: A method for manufacturing an alloy rod having giant magnetostriction, which comprises the steps of: supplying a rod-shaped alloy material, comprising at least two rare earth metals including terbium and dysprosium and at least one transition metal, into a crucible moving downwardly at a speed of from 0.2 to 8.5 mm/minute in an inert gas atmosphere kept under a pressure of from 0.2 to 10 atm.; heating the rod-shaped alloy material in the circumferential direction thereof in the crucible by means of an annular high-frequency heating coil having a frequency of from 0.1 to 3 MHz and having an inside diameter of from 1.1 to 1.
