  • Publication number: 20220327735
Abstract: To register a position and an angle of a scanning surface of an ultrasound probe easily and accurately. A phantom including two or more wires stretched in a non-parallel manner is disposed in a real space in which a position detection sensor is disposed. An ultrasound probe, to which a probe position detection marker is attached, is moved on the phantom in a parallel manner while keeping an orientation of a main plane of the ultrasound probe constant. Two or more ultrasound images of the phantom are acquired while detecting a position of the probe position detection marker in the real space with the position detection sensor. Positions of cross-sectional images of the two or more wires included in each of the two or more ultrasound images are obtained.

  • Patent number: 11464583
Abstract: The accuracy of an intervention site in surgery is predicted and the predicted intervention site is presented to a surgeon. A surgery support apparatus includes a prediction data generation unit that generates prediction data predicting an intervention site based on data before an intervention using an artificial intelligence algorithm. The artificial intelligence algorithm is an artificial intelligence algorithm learning an intervention site by analyzing data before the intervention and intervention site data for an object, and outputs coordinates, a region, or a shape of one point of the intervention site as prediction data. Data before the intervention used for learning of the artificial intelligence algorithm and input data input to the artificial intelligence algorithm to generate prediction data correspond to image data, a segment image, a feature point, etc. The prediction data is displayed on a display apparatus together with an image of a patient acquired in advance.

  • Publication number: 20220249174
Abstract: To quickly and accurately register a surgical field image and a preoperative image with each other and display the surgical field image and the preoperative image. The invention extracts sulcus patterns included in the preoperative image, and extracts sulcus patterns included in the surgical field image of a brain of a patient during a surgical operation. The invention extracts, from the sulcus patterns of the preoperative image, a range that matches the sulcus patterns of the surgical field image, and calculates a conversion vector for converting the preoperative image to match the range with the surgical field image. The invention displaces the preoperative image by the conversion vector and displays the preoperative image on a connected display device.

  • Publication number: 20220079685
Abstract: Two-step registration is performed so that a surface shape of a patient in real space accurately matches a surface shape in a medical image. The medical image of the patient is received from an imaging device, and position information is acquired for three or more regions on the surface of the patient and one representative position is set for each of the regions. Initial registration is performed using the information of the representative positions to establish association between the orientation of the patient in real space with the orientation of the patient image in the medical image. Then, detailed registration is performed to further establish the association, so that the surface shape of the patient represented by the positions of the plurality of points in the three or more regions matches the surface shape of the patient image in the medical image.

  • Patent number: 6154957
Abstract: An electronic parts mounting method in which chips in a plurality of parts feeders are picked up respectively by at least three nozzles, and a lowered mounting efficiency is avoided when any of the nozzles becomes bad, thereby mounting the chips on a board with a good operation efficiency. In a normal condition, the chips in the parts feeders are simultaneously picked up respectively by the first, second and third nozzles, and are transferred to and mounted on the board. When any of the three nozzles becomes bad, the mounting of the chips by this bad nozzle is stopped while the mounting of the chips by the other normal nozzles is effected as scheduled in a program, and thereafter those chips scheduled to be mounted by the bad nozzle are mounted by the normal nozzles. Therefore, the number of the pick-up operations is reduced as much as possible, so that the mounting efficiency can be enhanced.

  • Patent number: 5996203
Abstract: An electronic component mounting apparatus for determining whether or not a nozzle replacement operation is successfully performed. A horizontal array of nozzles are accommodated in the holder in a nozzle stocker, and a light emitting device and a light receiving device are arranged so that the light path between both runs above the nozzles. The nozzle stocker is arranged in a travel path of a feeding head. The nozzle mount of the feeding head returns a used nozzle into the holder or mounts a new nozzle thereon. When any nozzle remains lifted from the holder intercepting the light path, a returning operation of the used nozzle is determined to be a failure. When a nozzle replacement is performed, its success or failure is reliably determined by detecting a intercepting height of light and release height of light by the nozzle and nozzle mount, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5911456
Abstract: There is disclosed an electronic parts mounting method in which it is possible to avoid a pick-up mistake for electronic parts (chips) in simultaneously picking up the chips respectively stored in juxtaposed parts feeders by a plurality of nozzles provided to a transfer head. Nozzle position data of first, second and third nozzles 9a, 9b and 9c are beforehand obtained by a first camera, and pick-up positions of the chips in parts feeders 4 are obtained by a second camera. After picking up respectively the chips in the parts feeders 4 by the nozzles 9a to 9c it is judged whether or not there would be caused the pick-up mistake. When it is judged there is caused no pick-up mistake, a transfer head is moved to a position above a board and each of the chips is mounted to the board.
