  • Patent number: 8278834
Abstract: A PWM control method increases/decreases a duty ratio of a PWM signal with a predetermined resolution so to control the duty ratio of the PWM signal in the case of a PWM control. The resolution of the duty ratio of the PWM signal is increased to make a high period in the duty ratio of the PWM signal longer than a rise time of the PWM signal if the high period is shorter than the rise time. The resolution of the duty ratio of the PWM signal is increased to make a low period in the duty ratio of the PWM signal longer than a fall time of the PWM signal if the low period is shorter than the fall time.

  • Patent number: 6272191
Abstract: A system is provided to prevent the generation of radio waves of local oscillation from an FM multiplex receiver 11 within a frequency band which adversely affects an FM radio 12 without providing an isolation buffer. The FM multiplex receiver 11 and the FM radio 12 are connected via a main controller 13. The main controller 13 discriminates whether or not the FM radio 12 is on. In the case that the FM radio 12 is on, the main controller 13 controls the tuning of the FM multiplex receiver 11 lest the tuning frequency of the FM multiplex receiver 11 should be set to a specified prohibited frequency.

  • Patent number: 6070064
Abstract: An information or broadcast receiving system and a control method therefor are provided for preventing a switch noise generated during the switching of antennas of a receiver provided with a plurality of switchable antennas from deteriorating a receptive state of an other receiver. When a detector 62 of a main controller 3 detects that a radio 1 is receiving an AM broadcast, a signal output device 63 causes an FM multiplex receiver 2 to stop the switching of a main antenna 31 and an auxiliary antenna 32 by a diversity circuit 33 and to select the main antenna 31.

  • Patent number: 5961570
Abstract: A car navigation system 11 has a screen change section 19d for changing one screen to a different screen based on a predetermined input signal, a display signal generation section 19c for generating a video signal for displaying the different screen, a liquid crystal display section 17 being responsive to the signal level of the video signal for changing voltage applied to liquid crystal of each pixel part in a predetermined change range and displaying the corresponding screen, ROM 31 for storing a plurality of the change ranges of the applied voltage preset in a one-to-one correspondence with the screens, and a brightness level control section 18 for selecting the change range corresponding to the different screen from among the change ranges stored in the ROM 31 and instructing the liquid crystal display section 17 to change the applied voltage in the selected change range.

  • Patent number: 5754117
Abstract: A remote control device for an automotive vehicle wherein a transmitter (10) is received in a holder (2), with side-marker lights and taillights staying on, to connect holder-side contacts (3, 4) to transmitter-side contacts (16, 17), and the transmitter (10) is removed from the holder (2) to disconnect the transmitter-side contacts (16, 17) from the holder-side contacts (3, 4). A differentiating circuit (21) detects the disconnection of the transmitter-side contacts (16, 17) from the holder-side contacts (3, 4) by the removal of the transmitter (10) in the on position of the side-marker lights and taillights, and a timer (22) clocks a predetermined timer time over which LEDs illuminate manipulation keys (12) of the transmitter (10). Only the removal of the remote control transmitter from the holder permits the manipulation keys to be readily illuminated.

  • Patent number: 5357169
Abstract: A switching apparatus for an interior light in a motor vehicle allows a user to set a delay period from the time when an off command was issued to a room light in the motor vehicle to the time when the light is actually turned off. The switching apparatus turns on and off a room light R in the motor vehicle. The switching apparatus comprises a limit switch 1 for issuing the off command to the room light R when a door is opened, a delay circuit 3 for generating a delay period from the time when the off command as issued to the light R to the time when the light R is to be turned off, and a regulator 4 for regulating the delay period generated by the delay circuit 3. It is possible for the user to set a desired lighting period by regulating the delay period, giving the motor vehicle high quality and versatility.
