Then, in the first mode, a virtual camera is set to a first line-of-sight direction, and a game image in which an information image is placed in a first direction is generated. In the second mode, the virtual camera is set to be further downward than the first line-of-sight direction, and a game image in which the plurality of information images are placed in different directions is generated.
