  • Patent number: 8458454
Abstract: A conditional access apparatus receives a filter condition from another conditional access apparatus to set the filter condition to a filter unit 1 thereof. When key information meeting the above-mentioned filter condition is outputted from the filter unit 1, the conditional access apparatus informs the key information to the other conditional access apparatus, and also informs the filter condition set to the filter unit 1 by the key information control unit 3 to the other conditional access apparatus and acquires key information meeting the above-mentioned filter condition from the other conditional access apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8112780
Abstract: A digital broadcast receiving apparatus has two systems as a receiving system: a first receiving demodulation section including a first tuner 2 and the like; and a second receiving demodulation section including a second tuner 5 and the like. A controller 19 establishes either a first receiving mode or second receiving mode. In the first receiving mode, both the receiving systems receive the broadcasting waves of the same station to be viewed according to the signals from a vehicle speed detecting section 15 and receiving level detecting sections 16 and 17. In the second receiving mode, one of the two receiving systems receives the broadcasting wave of the station to be viewed, and the other of them receives the broadcasting wave of another station.

  • Publication number: 20110170013
Abstract: Respective broadcast program videos from a plurality of broadcast reception units 10, 20 are distributed by a video distribution unit 51. Video synthesis units 54, 55 set at least one of the distributed program videos as a master screen, set another program video subjected to reduction processing by video reduction units 52, 53 as a slave screen, and synthesize the program video set as the master screen with the program video set as the slave screen. A video constituted by the synthesized master screen and slave screen is then displayed on each of a plurality of monitors 92, 97.

  • Publication number: 20110140848
Abstract: A broadcast receiver stores history information about switching between sending-out stations, the history information including broadcast display state information, in a storage unit 7 while bringing the history information into correspondence with position information about a position of a vehicle, and compares current broadcast display state information acquired at a current position of the vehicle with broadcast display state information in history information which is extracted from the storage unit 7 and which corresponds to a position which is the same as the current position to determine that a sending-out station corresponding to history information which provides a display state which is the same as the display state of a broadcast wave currently being received as the vehicle travels is a switching destination.

  • Patent number: 7369746
Abstract: Data separating means extracts intra-frame or intra-field encoded blocks from an intra-frame or intra-field encoded, and inter-frame or inter-field encoded digital video signal, and a digital audio signal contained in an input bit stream. Error correction code appending means appends error correction codes to the extracted intra-encoded blocks. Recording means records the data having the error correction code appended, in special replay data recording areas predefined on the magnetic recording tape. During fast replay or slow replay, error correction is achieved even for the replay signal with a low output level and a poor symbol rate.

  • Publication number: 20070060082
Abstract: A receiving apparatus 10 receives a broadcasting wave to which service information indicating at least a channel number, a transmission broadcasting station name, and a broadcast target area are added. A control CPU 20 controls a tuner 11 so as to determine whether the broadcasting wave can be received in a predetermined region while changing the channel number, extracts the service information added to the broadcasting wave which is determined to be able to be received thereby, and registers the service information, as preset information, into one preset group in a memory 19. The control CPU then controls the tuner according to the preset information registered into the preset group so as to select the broadcasting wave.

  • Patent number: 4823198
Abstract: A magnetic recording and reproducing device and method, the device including rotary heads, a pilot signal generating circuit for generating pilot signals different in frequency in synchronization with a change-over signal for the rotary heads. Also included are an adder for superposing the pilot signals on a video signal and applying the resultant signals to the rotary heads, a first switch for stopping the delivery of the pilot signals for a predetermined period of time in a temporary recording stop mode, and a second switch for switching the operation mode of the rotary heads from a recording mode over to a reproducing mode so that, after the first switch has stopped the delivery of the pilot signals, the delivery of signals from the adder is stopped.
