  • Publication number: 20150167687
Abstract: A centrifugal compressor (1) that includes: an auxiliary bearing (7) which supports a shaft (2), which is supported by a magnetic bearing (6), when the shaft (2) is displaced from a reference position; and a stopper (8) that is provided only for a first auxiliary bearing (7a) among the first auxiliary bearing (7a) and a second auxiliary bearing (7b), that is fixed to the shaft (2), and that restricts a movement of the shaft (2) in both directions in an axial direction by the stopper (8) being brought into contact with the first auxiliary bearing (7a).

  • Publication number: 20150159668
Abstract: A turbo compressor that has a compression stage provided with an impeller that rotates; a housing provided with a gear unit accommodation space that accommodates lubricating oil and accommodates a large diameter gear that transmits rotating force to the impeller, an IGV accommodation space in which the ambient pressure is lower than the gear unit accommodation space, and a gap that brings the IGV accommodation space and the air intake side of a first compression stage into communication; a pressure equalizing tube that causes a gas to circulate from the gear unit accommodation space toward the IGV accommodation space; and a second oil separating device that separates, in the IGV accommodation space, the lubricating oil contained in the gas.

  • Publication number: 20140127050
Abstract: An electrical motor includes a motor case, a rotor that is housed in the motor case and rotatable about a rotor shaft, a stator that is provided around the rotor in the motor case and configured by winding a stator coil around a stator core, and a first spray nozzle that is provided in the motor case for spraying liquid coolant toward an inner circumferential surface of the motor case. The stator coil has a first coil end protruded from the stator core along a direction of the rotor shaft. The first spray nozzle is configured to spread the coolant as mist by splashing the coolant on the inner circumferential surface to make the spread mist over the first coil end. The first coil end can be cooled sufficiently by vaporization heats of the mist coolant that is fallen over it.

  • Publication number: 20140119890
Abstract: A turbo-compressor 1 includes a variable vane 3 that adjusts the flow rate of a fluid, a drive shaft 5 that is connected to the variable vane 3 and is rotated to drive the variable vane 3, a motor 7 that rotationally drives the drive shaft 5, and a coupling 11 that couples the drive shaft 5 with an output shaft 9 of the motor 7. Between the drive shaft 5 and output shaft 9 and the coupling 11, a vibration isolation means 13 is arranged to connect the drive shaft 5 and output shaft 9 to each other so that they rotate together and allow the drive shaft 5 and output shaft 9 to move in a vibration direction.

  • Publication number: 20140102831
Abstract: A turbo compressor includes a housing in which lubrication oil is accumulated, a gear that is housed in the housing and to which the lubrication oil is supplied, a demister that is disposed above the gear and on which an intake is provided to catch oil mist of the lubrication oil in the housing, a gear cover that is provided surrounding the gear to catch lubrication oil splashed by the gear and then drip the caught lubrication oil downward, and a demister cover that is disposed near the demister to drip the lubrication oil caught by the demister downward. Here, a narrow gap is formed between the demister cover and an inner wall surface of the housing. According to the turbo compressor, an amount of lubrication oil flowing through the demister can be reduced by the gear cover and the demister cover.

  • Publication number: 20140097714
Abstract: An electrical motor includes a motor case inside which an inner space is formed, a bearing disposed so as to pass through a wall of the motor case, a rotor shaft rotatably supported by the bearing, and an earth conductor fixed with the motor case and provided with a frame and an electrical conductor provided on the frame. The frame has an annular inner circumferential surface along an outer circumference of the rotor shaft and is fixed with the motor shaft. The electrical conductor is disposed on the inner circumferential surface of the frame so as to slidably contact its end with the rotor shaft. A bypass flow passage is provided between the earth conductor and the motor case. The inner space is communicated with an outside of the motor case via the bypass flow passage. According to the motor, its inside can be cooled without damaging the earth conductor.
