  • Patent number: 7312414
Abstract: A key switch device capable of preventing a key top from displacing in the horizontal direction when the key top is being depressed, and of minimizing wear and damage to the components thereof. A displacement restricting part, contacting each of a pair of link members, is formed by punching and bending a support plate. Further, on the back side of a trunk of each link member, an engaging portion capable of contacting the displacement restricting part is formed. When the key top is being depressed, the displacement restricting part always contacts the engaging portion, whereby the displacement of the link members in the horizontal direction or the slipping movement of the key top may be prevented.

  • Patent number: 7242395
Abstract: An input device and a driving device able to be made thin and secure sufficiently large vibration amplitude are provided. The input device comprises an input panel, a current conducting element for conducting a driving current, and a magnetic field application unit for applying a magnetic field on the current conducting element. Both of the current conducting element and the magnetic field application unit are arranged in the peripheral region of the input panel. The magnetic field applied by the magnetic field application unit is parallel to the input panel and intersects the current conducting element. When the input panel is touched, a driving current is fed into the current conducting element, and a force is imposed on the current conducting element and the magnetic field application unit, making them move. This movement further drives the input panel to vibrate. Consequently, input operations can be recognized by feeling the vibration of the input panel.

  • Patent number: 7226911
Abstract: The present invention relates to provide a protein group binding to keratin which is the major component of body hair, or genes encoding the same, particularly to keratin-associated proteins (KAP) which bind specifically and strongly to hair keratin or genes encoding the same. The base sequence of eurochromtic region of approximately 33.5 Mb of human chromosome 21 was determined, a dot-matrix analysis of the base sequence of the long arm region of chromosome 21 (21q22.3) was carried out, homology search was made to low frequency repetitive sequences and 16 KAP genes being expressed only in hair root cells were found. Moreover, the high frequency repetitive sequences present in the sequence spanning for approximately 1 Mb between CLDN8 gene and TIAM1 gene in the long arm region of chromosome 21(21q22.11) were masked, the presence or absence of short low frequency repetitive sequence was searched, and 22 KAP genes were found. Moreover, a group of functional peptide was designed from the above mentioned KAPs.
