  • Publication number: 20240000712
Abstract: A composition for sustained-release solid dosage form that contains (A) a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin having an average saponification degree of 78 to 96 mol % and an average polymerization degree of 800 or more and (B) a polyhydric phenol compound, preferably tannic acid. A sustained-release tablet having an intended hardness can be produced by a method that includes mixing a granulate prepared from a composition containing (A) a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin powder and a pharmaceutical ingredient with a tannic acid powder, and compressing the mixture into a tablet.

  • Patent number: 9217196
Abstract: Plural spline shafts are arranged around columnar plasma, and plural spline shafts are coaxially aligned in a direction that the columnar plasma extends within a vacuum chamber. The plural coaxially aligned spline shafts are positioned so that axial gap is formed between the respective male spline sections. The axial gap of the plural male spline sections is positioned at a center of the columnar plasma in the direction that the columnar plasma extends.

  • Patent number: 7393888
Abstract: The aqueous resin composition comprises components (A) and (B), wherein (A) is a synthetic resin emulsion prepared by emulsion-polymerizing a radical-polymerizable unsaturated monomer using a surfactant having at least one polymerizable unsaturated bond, and (B) is a polyphosphate salt. To provide an aqueous flame retardant resin composition which is excellent in flame retardancy and storage stability, and is less likely to produce a fogging phenomenon.

  • Patent number: 7317056
Abstract: There is provided a synthetic resin emulsion comprising polymer particles having a core/shell structure, wherein the shell comprises a copolymer of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and a hydrophilic comonomer, the core comprises a copolymer of a monomer mixture comprising a radically polymerizable main monomer and a radically polymerizable functional monomer, and the monomers constituting the monomer mixture are selected so that the glass transition point (Tg) of the copolymer produced by polymerization is ?20° C. or below, and the synthetic resin emulsion has been produced by adding the monomer mixture for core formation and a pH adjustor to an aqueous copolymer solution, which has not been neutralized, produced by polymerizing the unsaturated carboxylic acid and the hydrophilic comonomer in an aqueous medium, and allowing a polymerization reaction to proceed.

  • Patent number: 5551750
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a seat cushion and a seat back having a first end operatively connected to the seat cushion and a second end projecting upwardly therefrom. A headrest is normally adjustably connected to the second end of the seat back. The headrest is removably mounted to the seat back for enabling the headrest to be selectively removed therefrom. A device is provided for operatively positioning the headrest relative to the seat cushion for enabling a user to be positioned on the seat cushion to elevate the user relative to the normal elevation of the seat cushion during use. The device for operatively positioning the headrest relative to the seat cushion may include a strap positioned on each side of the headrest for receiving a seat belt for securing the headrest to the seat cushion. Other devices for securing the headrest to the seat cushion, such as hook and loop members and retaining members may be utilized.
