  • Patent number: 10705599
Abstract: An immersive head-mounted display (IHMD) can include motion sensing detectors and a display. The IHMD can generate a first generate a first graphical field of view to present on the display. The IHMD can generate a request for a user input. The IHMD can generate one or more second graphical fields of view that are shifted in various directions from the first graphical field of view to present on the displays in response to receiving movement data, from the motion sensing detectors, indicative of the IHMD being moved in the various directions. The IHMD can analyze the movement data to determine a user reply to the request in response to receiving the movement data within a predetermined amount of time. The IHMD can determine the movement data corresponds to an affirmative head shake and perform an affirmative action or corresponds to a negative head shake and perform a negative action.

  • Patent number: 10353459
Abstract: An immersive head-mounted display (IHMD) system including an IHMD that includes at least one gyroscope and a hardware data transmission component operable to transmit data received from the at least one gyroscope. The system includes a control device communicatively that includes an input interface operable to accept an input from an external controller interface and a processing unit having one or more hardware processors. The processing unit operative to: generate a graphic field of view using at least a portion of the graphical data; generate, based on data received from the at least one gyroscope, a modified graphic field of view within the portion of the graphical data; identify a specific target from a plurality of potential targets within the modified graphic field of view; receive an input from the input interface, wherein the input is directed towards the specific target.

  • Patent number: 7029132
Abstract: Adjustment of the illumination range to a liquid crystal panel of a liquid crystal projector requires time in fixing upon adjustment and accordingly it is an object to make the adjustment effectively. In an adjustment mechanism of the illumination range of illumination means to the liquid crystal panel in an optical engine unit of the liquid projector, the spring property is provided in a lens holder for holding a lens and the lens is temporarily held by friction of the spring portion to the optical engine case after adjustment. Then, the adhesion processing is made to complete the adjustment.

  • Patent number: 6214455
Abstract: Disclosed in a halogen-free flame-retardant epoxy resin composition, comprising (A) a bisphenol A type epoxy resin, (B) a novolak type epoxy resin, (C) a phenolic resin type curing agent, (D) a curing accelerator, and (E) an inorganic filler. The phenolic resin type curing agent (C) is provided by a nitrogen-containing phenolic resin, preferably, by a co-condensation resin formed by the reaction among a phenolic compound, a guanamine compound, and an aldehyde compound. More desirably, a phenolic resin containing both phosphorus and nitrogen should be used as the curing agent (C). Further, a combination of the co-condensation resin noted above (C-1) and a reactive phosphoric acid ester can be used as a curing agent.
