  • Publication number: 20240069468
Abstract: With a mounting operation of a supply container, a supported portion 11b of a developer receiving portion 11 is supported by a receipt supporting portion 30c of a lifting portion 30. With further mounting operation, a shutter sliding portion 30b of the lifting portion 30 slides on a shutter inclined portion 4f of a shutter 4. The developer receiving portion 11 is displaced so as to bring a receiving opening into communication with a discharge opening by operating, using the shutter 4, the lifting portion 30 supporting the supported portion 11b of the developer receiving portion 11. By this, a load required for movement of the developer receiving portion 11 is reduced to achieve smooth mounting of the supply container.

  • Patent number: 5341352
Abstract: In a multi-disk player, disks such as compact disks and video disks are positioned on at least two tray mechanisms so that the signal reproducing surfaces of the disks on the respective tray mechanisms face in predetermined directions. Drive units are provided for each of the tray mechanisms, and each drive unit moves its the respective tray mechanism between a disk playback position and a disk ejecting position. A disk is clamped selectively from the tray mechanism which is at the disk playback position. An optical pickup device traverses the signal reproducing surface of the disk thus clamped to playback the data recorded on the surface of the clamped disk. Thus, a compact disk can be played back without removing a video disk situated in the disk player, and vice versa. Additionally, a video disk can be loaded and positioned in the disk player while playing back a compact disk, and vice versa.

  • Patent number: 5253235
Abstract: Four compact disks (CDs) and one laser disk (LD) are placed in a tray having a plurality of disk receiving sections and moved through a disk supplying opening into a disk player housing. In accordance with the desired input to the disk player, a disk holder is directed to a desired disk receiving position via a swinging arm device which supports the disk holder and places the desired disk in the disk playing position.

  • Patent number: 5144612
Abstract: A disc loading device loads a disc in position on a turntable for reading information on either face of the disc. A clamp plate having one disc centering member clamps the disc to the turntable having a second disc centering member. The centering member corresponding to the disc face to be read is used to center the disc. The clamp and a carriage are driven in synchronism through a slider plate having multiple cam portions and which is adapted to move only horizontally under control of a motor, gear, track, horizontal slots on a fixed plate, and pins which are attached to the track and a fixed plate and pass thru the horizontal slots. As the motor rotates, its direction and amount of rotation is transferred to movement of the slider plate. Cam slots on the slider plate receive pins connected to the carriage and the clamp member, the latter pins passing through vertical slots in the fixed plate such that horizontal movement of the slider plate causes vertical movement of the carriage and clamp member.

  • Patent number: 4893295
Abstract: A front loading disc player is disclosed which comprises a housing, a play mechanism including a turntable, a carrier for carrying a disc to be played, and a projection/accommodation mechanism for moving the carrier so as to project/accommodate the carrier out-of-into the housing to perform loading/ejection of the disc. The projection/accommodation mechanism includes moving members movably provided within said housing, a driving force application unit for applying a driving force to the moving members, and a carrier moving mechanism for moving the carrier in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction in response to the movement of the moving members. The carrier moving mechanism is provided with a speed multiplier for moving the carrier at a speed higher than the moving speed of the moving members as the moving members move.

  • Patent number: 4536865
Abstract: A compact bookshelf type record player having substantially the width as the width of the turntable. A motor slide plate is slidably mounted through a front opening in the player cabinet and slidable between fully retracted, record playing and record changing positions. A tone arm is mounted on the slide plate in such a manner that it can be swung out of the way completely to the rear of the slide plate when not in use. The positions of the slide plate are controlled by operation of a main switch which is of the push-push type with the D.C. motor providing the positioning force.
