  • Patent number: 8071980
Abstract: A radiation detector that includes a charge conversion layer, a substrate, an electrode layer, an intermediary layer and wiring is provided. The substrate includes a lower electrode portion that collects charge generated by the charge conversion layer. The electrode layer includes an upper electrode portion and an extended electrode portion. The upper electrode portion is laminated on the charge conversion layer. The extended electrode portion extends from the upper electrode portion down a side face of the charge conversion layer to a region on the substrate at which the charge conversion layer is not present. The intermediary layer is formed from between the charge conversion layer and the upper electrode portion to between the extended electrode portion and the substrate. The wiring is electrically connected with the extended electrode portion at the region on the substrate at which the charge conversion layer is not present.

  • Patent number: 7786446
Abstract: An extended electrode is electrically connected to a conductor in a portion outside of an inner wall of a protection member disposed on a photoconductive layer side, the pressure applied to the photoconductive layer is reduced and the deterioration of the photoconductive layer may be suppressed. Further, since the extended electrode is electrically connected to a high-voltage wire in a portion outside of the inner wall of the protection member, the extended electrode may be connected to the high-voltage wire in the state that the photoconductive layer is surrounded by the protection member. As a result, deterioration of the photoconductive layer may be suppressed even while a connection work is performed.

  • Patent number: 6800011
Abstract: A flash discharge tube includes a pin-shaped cathode. The pin-shaped cathode has an electrode core of tungsten having a first end portion. A lead of nickel has a second end portion connected with the first end portion. In the electrode producing method, the electrode core and the lead are retained by use of respectively first and second chuck mechanisms with the first and second end portions opposed to one another. The first and second end portions are pushed on one another by moving at least one of the first and second chuck mechanisms. While the first and second end portions are pushed on one another, the first and second chuck mechanisms are supplied with electric current, so as to weld the electrode core and the lead together therewith by resistance welding.

  • Publication number: 20030047506
Abstract: An injection molding machine includes a nozzle for supplying a melted resin into a mold. In the nozzle, there is a filter for removing foreign materials mixed in the melted resin. The filter has a cylindrically-shaped filter body. In the filter body, many small holes are formed. By supplying the melted resin into the mold, the melted resin passes through the small holes into outside of the filter body. In cleaning the filter, the melted resin flows from the outside into the inside. The small holes each are smaller on the inside than the outside.
