  • Patent number: 8777078
Abstract: A driving tool is provided in which contact arms of the driving tool are symmetrically arranged at lateral sides of the drive passage, and contact portions of the contact arms are movable between an ON position and an OFF position. Further, the driving tool is configured such that each contact portion is independently movable between the ON position and the OFF position, and when both of the contact portions are moved to the ON position, the driving operation of a drive unit is allowed to operate, and when only one of the contact portions is moved to the ON position, the driving operation of the drive unit is not allowed to operate.

  • Patent number: 7000294
Abstract: A fastener driving tool includes a tool body. A driver guide is coupled to the tool body and defines a fastener driving channel though which fasteners are driven out. A magazine is coupled to the driver guide and serves to store the fasteners. A detecting device serves to detect when no fastener exists within the fastener driving channel. The detecting device includes a detection member and a detection recess formed in a fastener driving channel. The detection member has a front end in contact with the fasteners stored within magazine, so that the detecting member engages the detection recess when no fastener exists within the magazine and the fastener driving channel. The detection recess is positioned not to oppose the head of the fastener that has been fed into the fastener driving channel.

  • Patent number: 6199739
Abstract: A nail gun includes a contact arm that is movable relative to a nail gun body between an upper first stroke end position and a lower second stroke end position. The contact arm may prevent the nails from being driven when it is in the first stroke end position. A nail driving prevention device includes an engaging member that is movable to enter the moving path of the contact arm so as to prevent the contact arm from moving from the first stroke end position toward the second stroke end position when the number of the nails in a nail magazine has been reduced to a predetermined number. A deviating device is operable to change the moving course of the engaging member away from the moving path of the contact arm when the contact arm is positioned above the first stroke end position.

  • Patent number: 5609028
Abstract: A pneumatic tool includes a body having a pressure accumulation chamber formed therein for accumulating compressed air. A cap are mounted on the body and has a cap chamber formed therein for communication with the pressure accumulation chamber. The cap has a joint for connection with an air hose from a compressed air source. A gasket is interposed between the pressure accumulation chamber and the cap chamber from each other. The gasket itself forms a valve for preventing a counterflow of the air from the pressure accumulation chamber to the cap chamber, so that exhaust sounds of the air is prevented from being produced when the air hose is disconnected from the joint.

  • Patent number: 5332141
Abstract: A nailing machine includes a nail feeding channel member having therein a nail feeding channel connected to a nail guide channel formed in a driver guide. A driver is reciprocally driven through the nail guide channel for driving nails of a nail-carrying strip supplied by a nail feeding mechanism from a magazine through the nail feeding channel. A door member is mounted on the nail feeding channel member for closing and opening the nail feeding channel. An engaging pawl and a strip-retaining pawl are mounted on the door member. The engaging pawl is operable to engage one of engaging holes of the nail-carrying strip set in the nail feeding channel, as the door member is closed, for preventing movement of the nail-carrying strip in a direction opposite to the feeding direction of the nail-carrying strip.
