  • Patent number: 9259775
Abstract: Flat-plate connecting portions are formed in a band plate by a connecting-portion forming unit. The flat-plate connecting portions are cut off by another connecting-portion forming unit except one flat-plate connecting portion so as to form a corrugated-plate connecting portion. A corrugated-plate portion is formed by a corrugation forming unit, so that the corrugated-plate portion has multiple projections arranged in a width direction of the band plate and each of the projections extends in a plate feeding direction. The corrugated-plate connecting portion corresponding to a predetermined connecting number is cut off so as to form a corrugated fin having a predetermined number of corrugated-plate portions.

  • Patent number: 8333100
Abstract: A press machine able to press-work a strip-shaped material during which it can prevent the strip-shaped material from moving or warping or can prevent the strip-shaped material from partially cracking and a processing method using that press machine. A multi-process press machine provided with a drive source M, a camshaft 1 driven by the drive source M and having a plurality of independent first cams 1a, 1b, and 1c and second cams 1h, 1i, and 1j, a plurality of die sets each comprised of a pair of a punch 2 and a die 3 connected with the first cam, a material holding member 7 pressing the strip-shaped material W against the die 3 when connecting with and pressing the second cam, and a base 5 supporting the dies.

  • Patent number: 5625948
Abstract: According to the present invention, in the first process, a pipe end of a long pipe is bent with a radius of curvature which is larger than a minimum radius of curvature to form a large R portion. That is to say, bending with a large radius of curvature (R) is performed to form a large R portion in a region in which cracking or excessive reduction of plate thickness of the bend outer-side portion, or buckling of the bend inner-side portion does not occur. Subsequently, in the second process, the pipe is bent with a small radius of curvature form a small R portion by pressing a pipe-end portion of the pipe from a pipe-end direction while fixedly holding the bend side wall of the pipe. In this way, it is possible to obtain an R-minimum elbow configuration irrespective of magnitude of an amount of elongation of material and further without special equipment or mechanisms, by minor modification of present equipment.

  • Patent number: 4982970
Abstract: Disclosed is a claw unit with paired separably connected claw elements, which comprises a chuck body, a master jaw, a top jaw, position-limiting members, a locking member, and an engaging member. When the engaging member is rotated, the locking member which is in engagement with the engaging member is retreated into the master jaw from a front surface thereof. Thereafter, the top jaw is forced into the front surface of the master jaw. When the top jaw has been thus brought into engagement with the position-limiting members and further into contact with the front surface of the master jaw, the top jaw is moved somewhat in a radial direction of the chuck body. When, in this state, the engaging member is rotated, the locking member which has been elastically urged is allowed to rush into a positioning hole of the top jaw to lock the top jaw. Thus, the top jaw is made integral with the master jaw.
