    Abstract: A projector includes an adjusting leg section configured to be capable of protruding/retracting outside/inside an exterior chassis and changing a tilt condition of the projector, an interlocking device that displaces based on the protruding/retracting movement of the adjusting leg section, a variable resistance device that has a resistance that varies based on displacement of the interlocking device, a voltage detection device that detects a voltage based on the resistance of the variable resistance device, a storage device that stores keystone distortion correction amount information, and a keystone distortion correction device that obtains a keystone distortion correction amount from the keystone distortion correction amount information based on the voltage detected by the voltage detection device, and that corrects the keystone distortion of the projection image using the keystone distortion correction amount.
