The standing wall includes a standing wall locking projection formed on the top wall at a further rear end side in an insertion direction of a terminal fitting than the lance locking projection, and opposed to the lance locking projection. When the lance locking projection is pulled toward the rear end in the insertion direction, the standing wall locking projection is locked with the lance locking projection.

Abstract: To provide a seal member for a waterproof connector which will not be deteriorated in waterproof performance even when wires swing, and is suited for use even in the type of connector in which an inner housing is swingable as in a floating connector, a seal member for a waterproof connector is mounted at rear ends of terminal receiving chambers of the waterproof connector, and has wire-sealing passage holes in which wires connected to respective terminals can be fitted, respectively. Lip portions are formed on an outer peripheral portion of the seal member over an entire periphery thereof, and also lip portions are formed on front and rear sides of the seal member spaced from each other in an inserting direction, and these lip portions can be compressed and deformed between the seal member and the terminal receiving chambers.

Abstract: A connector fixing structure for fixing a connector 11 to a board 10 includes a fixing metal member 12, and the fixing metal member 12 includes a connector mounting piece portion 16 for mounting on the connector 11, and a board joining piece portion 17 which is formed integrally with the connector mounting piece portion 16, and extends therefrom so as to be disposed on the board 10 in parallel relation thereto, and is adapted to be soldered to a land 23 formed on the board 10. A hole portion 24 is formed in the land 23, and an insertion piece portion 21 for insertion into the hole portion 24 is formed at the fixing metal member 12, and this insertion piece portion is formed by stamping out part of the board joining piece portion 17 and then by bending the stamped-out portion. The insertion piece portion 21 is soldered to the hole portion 24.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a waterproof connector having an adjusted spacing between terminals or electrical wires for achieving an effective waterproof. The electrical wires received in a terminal receiving portion of an outer housing are guided to a wire seal fit portion, while the electrical wires are pressed with wire holders (displacement limit portions). The electrical wires are then passed through a holder (spacing adjusting portion), a seal member, and another holder (lead-out portion) of a wire seal in the wire seal fit portion. The wire seal is fitted into the wire seal fit portion for achieving waterproof of the waterproof connector. The electrical wires guided out of the lead-out portion have an equal spacing therebetween by expansion of the spacings between the electrical wires or displacements thereof. The equal spacing ensures insertion of the seal member and provides the effective waterproof.

The connector has a plurality of first sub-connectors fixed to a substrate and a plurality of second sub-connectors paired with the corresponding first sub-connectors, and includes a male frame having a plurality of accommodating parts in which the second sub-connectors are separately accommodated so as to be freely movable and a female frame to which the male frame fits. The female frame accommodates the plurality of first sub-connectors such that the first sub-connectors are connected to the corresponding second sub-connectors. The connector further includes guide means for guiding each of the second sub-connectors into a connected position relative to the corresponding first sub-connector.

Abstract: A connector having a sealing function, which can be disassembled and also assembled easily, is provided. The connector includes: a connector housing which receives a terminal fitting attached to an end of an electric wire; a sealing member which includes sealing pieces made of resilient material positioning the electric wire between the sealing pieces and a holding means holding the sealing pieces at predetermined positions; and an outer housing which receives the connector housing and the sealing member, wherein the sealing pieces maintain a waterproof characteristic between the outer housing and the electric wire when the connector housing and the sealing member are received in the outer housing.

Abstract: A press-contacting terminal includes a terminal connection portion for electrical connecting to a mating terminal, and a wire connection portion that is extended from the terminal connection portion in a first direction. The wire connection portion includes a base plate portion, first and second side plate portions that are provided on opposite side edges of the base plate portion in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a press-contacting portion for press-contacting a sheathed wire, the press-contacting portion being disposed on the base plate in perpendicular to both of the base plate portion and the side plate portions, and an interconnecting portion that connects the press-contacting portion to the first side plate portion. The first and second side plate portions have a height so as not to interfere with the sheathed wire to be press-contacted with the press-contacting portion.

A voice coil motor driver (VCM driver) supplies the VCM with a driving current for driving the VCM. During a head unload operation of using the actuator to retract the head to a ramp away from a recording surface of the disk, a driver driving unit drives the VCM driver by a voltage higher than that required for a non-head-unload operation.

Abstract: The present invention is to provide a terminal having a stable electric contact without reducing supporting force of the terminal. The terminal is force fitted into a through-hole of a circuit board and connected to conductive portions inside the through-hole electrically. The terminal includes resilient contact portions at both sides of escape spaces formed through in the thickness direction of the insertion portion and the resilient contact portions are elastic along the long axis of the through-hole and are connected with the conductive portions inside the through-hole. The terminal also includes a plurality of leaf spring contact pieces in the escape spaces which are resilient in the short axis of the through-hole and connected electrically to the walls of the through-hole. Locking protrusions are formed at tip end of the insertion portion to engage with an edge of the through-hole.
