  • Patent number: 6522366
Abstract: A dual-loop PLL circuit is provided with a clamping circuit 12, an A/D conversion circuit 14, a reference color burst outputting circuit 18, a PLL circuit 24, and phase detecting circuit 34. The phase of a reference color burst KK outputted from the circuit 18 is changed at a slice level SL, and the level SL is changed by a reference phase value in the phase detecting circuit 34. The sampling clocks outputted from the PLL circuit 24 to the A/D conversion circuit 14 are converted to a signal of a frequency of 4 Fsc, and the phase of the signal can be changed continuously by using the reference phase value. In addition, since the phase of the sampling clocks can be adjusted to a desired value and the output signal of the A/D conversion circuit 14 can be converted onto a prescribed color difference signal by a signal conversion circuit and outputted, the color difference signals can be demodulated easily with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 6238151
Abstract: A drilling tool including a substantially columnar tool body rotatable about an axis, the tool body having a chip discharge groove formed in the outer periphery thereof opened at a distal end surface of the tool body; and a cutting edge having a rake face and extending from an end adjacent to the axis toward the outer periphery of the tool provided along a crossing ridge between a wall surface of the chip discharge groove facing in a circumferential direction of the tool and the distal end face. In the drilling tool, a concave surface rises in the circumferential direction of the tool with respect to the rake face of the cutting edge, the concave surface forming a concave curve advancing toward the distal end face of the tool in the circumferential direction of the tool, the concave surface being formed between the crossing ridge and the distal end face.

  • Patent number: 5829927
Abstract: A drill including a substantially columnar tool body having an axis. The tool body includes a pair of chip ejection grooves formed in an outer peripheral surface thereof. The tool body further includes, in a distal end portion thereof, a pair of cutting edges provided at respective distal ends of the pair of chip ejection grooves and a recess communicating with the pair of chip ejection grooves. The pair of cutting edges have radially inner ends located in positions slightly offset from the axis radially outward, and the recess extends along the axis while passing a gap between the radially inner ends of the pair of cutting edges, and has a bottom surface facing a distal end of the tool body. The bottom surface of the recess includes one slope and another slope.

  • Patent number: 5343604
Abstract: In a combined working machine, a positional relationship between a machining position of a workpiece and a tool can be determined to an optional value by a combination of a slide amount of a carriage along a slant surface, a slide amount of a tool post along another slant surface, a pivot amount of a turret, and a rotational amount of a chuck of a headstock. That is, the tool of the tool post can be brought into contact with the workpiece from a slant direction, and a combined working including cutting by a cutting tool and drilling in a slant direction by a drill can be performed. Further, the tool of the tool post can be moved to the desired machining position of the workpiece from the slant direction, and thus the moving amount of the tool post in a vertical direction can be reduced to lower a height of a machine tool and to give stabilization thereto.

  • Patent number: 4737869
Abstract: A magnetic disk comprises a data area and a single index servo sector area embedded in the data area. The servo sector has three or more servo information pattern sections formed side by side in the direction of data tracks in the data area. The servo information pattern sections each have a plurality of servo information bit cells formed in a predetermined pattern in a direction perpendicular to the direction of data tracks. The servo information bit cells are used to produce a position signal for positioning a read/write head. A servo system for positioning the read/write head averages a plurality of position signals obtained from the servo information pattern sections and uses the averaged position signal for positioning the read/write head.

  • Patent number: 4383170
Abstract: An image input device is disclosed including an image source which generates an image light and a light sensor facing the image source. The image light is divided into a number of components by an image dividing device. The light sensor contains a number of photoelectric converting elements, the number of photoelectric converting elements being smaller than the number of components constituting the image light. The image dividing device is placed between the light sensor and the image source to divide the image light into components in a predetermined timed order. The photoelectric converting elements are thereby irradiated in the predetermined timed order and the electrical signals generated by these photoelectric elements are read out in this same predetermined timed order and stored in a memory.
