After this notification, the electronic apparatus executes the foreign object detection processing to detect the presence of a foreign object that is not a power supply target through a second polling performed for a predetermined period by the communication unit. Based on a result of the foreign object detection processing, the electronic apparatus controls power supply from the power supply unit to the power-supply target electronic apparatus.
