Publication number: 20190242126Abstract: A modular wall assembly has one or more wall portions defined by one or more rows of stacked wall modules. Two wall portions can be spaced from each other to define an opening for a door. A header assembly can be attached over the two wall portions to distribute load onto both wall portions and define a top portion of the opening for the door. A door frame with an adjustable throat can extend over side edges of the two wall portions and the bottom edge of the header assembly to mount a door (e.g., double-door, panic doors) to the modular wall assembly. Buttress walls, having removable counterweights, can extend perpendicular to the wall portions to counteract forces on the wall portions. The wall assembly can be supported on a skid plate that facilitates alignment of the wall modules when assembling the wall portions of the wall assembly. The skid plate can have resilient material that facilitates leveling of the wall modules relative to a support surface underneath the skid plate.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 4, 2019Publication date: August 8, 2019Inventors: Clark Leroy Maxam, Noel Roger Maxam

Publication number: 20180300433Abstract: Computer aided design systems and methods are disclosed. A computer aided design (CAD) system provide a user interface comprising a wall drawing tool, a window module placement tool, a door unit placement tool, and a working area. A user selection of the wall drawing tool is detected. A user start wall indication provided at a first coordinate and a user end wall indication provided at a second coordinate are detected, and a wall is drawn between the first and second coordinates. A wall height and dimensional information for pre-defined wall module types having different dimensions are accessed. Selection and position determinations of wall module types are performed. A rendering of an assembly for the wall is generated indicating the position of the selected module-types used to form the drawn wall.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2018Publication date: October 18, 2018Inventors: Clark Leroy Maxam, Noel Roger Maxam

Patent number: 6240319Abstract: A diathermy apparatus has a power circuit operative at a selected, fixed frequency. An applicator head, for providing therapeutic treatment, has an irradiating portion. A transmission line connects the power circuit and applicator head, and is of a length so that, at the frequency, a selected minimum power is delivered to the applicator head when unloaded, the length further being such that a selected maximum amount of power is delivered to the applicator head when it is in a loaded position in close proximity to a patient load. The diathermy apparatus also includes a cabinet and portable base, wherein the portable base mounts the applicator head, and provides a carriage for the cabinet. The applicator head has an internal fan for cooling components of the applicator head. A display is provided for displaying the actual power consumed by the patient load. A processor independently controls the pulse modulator and power circuit in digital increments on a selected scale.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 1999Date of Patent: May 29, 2001Assignee: International Medical Electronics Ltd.Inventor: Noel A. Patent number: 4642646Abstract: An improved aircraft marker beacon receiving and indicating system is provided, which automatically responds to the amplitude of the received signals to provide reduced sensitivity and muting of audio output after initial sensing and indication of proximity to the beacon and during a timed period of passing over the beacon in closest proximity thereto. The improved system employs an electrically controllable radio frequency attenuator between the antenna and the input of the receiver. The attenuator is controlled by a control voltage of predetermined duration from a trigger actuated, timed control signal generator. The control signal generator is triggered by direct current trigger pulse signals from an audio frequency peak detector. The peak detector derives its input from an operational amplifier coupled to receive audio frequency signals from the demodulator output of the tuner portion of the receiver.Type: GrantFiled: June 12, 1984Date of Patent: February 10, 1987Inventor: Noel A.
