  • Patent number: 9227375
Abstract: A process for producing a bonded connection between first and a second parts, with a length of superposition around a longitudinal axis, these parts being subjected to forces in at least one longitudinal direction, includes producing a bonded connection having at least one interior and/or exterior adhesive joint, over the length between the parts, the joint having a cross-section around the longitudinal axis, the thickness of the joint varying from a free edge on the end-fitting side, to the other free edge on the tube side, and following the direction of forces to which the parts are subjected so as to better distribute the overstresses over at least one part of the length. At least one adhesive joint is produced, having in the longitudinal direction a large thickness facing each of two free edges relative to the thickness in a median part.
    Type: Grant

    Assignee: EPSILON COMPOSITE
    Inventors: Noel Carrere, Anatole Ciccone
  • Publication number: 20140109721
Abstract: A process for the production of an end fitting attached to a body in the form of a longitudinal part such as a tube, with the end fitting including a yoke with two arms (18-1, 18-2), each equipped with a hole (20-1, 20-2) designed to work with a pin, is characterized in that at least one area (34) of less rigidity is made in the end fitting, in the area located upstream from the holes.

  • Publication number: 20140112708
Abstract: A process for producing a bonded connection between a first and a second part, with a length of superposition around a longitudinal axis, these parts being subjected to forces in at least one longitudinal direction, includes producing a bonded connection having at least one interior and/or exterior adhesive joint, over a portion of the length between the parts, the joint having a closed or semi-closed cross-section around the longitudinal axis, the thickness of the joint varying from a free edge on the end-fitting side, to the other free edge on the tube side, and following the direction of forces to which the parts are subjected so as to better distribute the overstresses over at least one part of the length. At least one adhesive joint is produced, having in the longitudinal direction a large thickness facing each of its two free edges relative to the thickness in its median part.

  • Publication number: 20140112700
Abstract: A process for relieving stresses in an end fitting (14) attached to a body (12) in the form of a longitudinal part such as a tube, with the end fitting including a yoke (18) with two arms (18-1, 18-2), each equipped with a hole (20-1, 20-2) designed to work with a pin (24), is characterized in that a removal of material upstream from each of the holes (20-1, 20-2) is carried out.
